Hi there Ciro. Welcome to the boards. What do you mean by rings on the card? I have one here now but I can't  see any markings.  Are they near the punch?

Hi Ciro, welcome to JD. Well I have cards with these rings on them. Looking at my Droids Fett, I have a half circle next to the left punch & 3 very small half circles on the edges of the card. On the first Carded Fett, I have a very large round impression on the upper right & 2 small edge circles.

Carded Luke: 1 small circle mark like a paper ring reinforcement.

Carded R2: 2 small impressions on the bootm.

Carded Sandtrooper: nothing.  8)

We talked about these rings awhile back in the Return of the Kubricks thread. Mostly on the 1st carded Fett then I added the Luke & R2. I think these are done by the machines/press when the cards go through a conveyor belt or when the bubble is attached to the card or when the cards are cut.

As for a Be@rbrick Wickett, I don't think any here has one unless Scott has not told us!  ::)

Hey everyone,

Not sure if this is old news but I just got an e-mail from HLJ and they said if you order a case of 48 Series 3 Kubs it doesn't guarantee a sealed case- could be 4 ad hoc boxes of 12.  What's my best bet?  BBTS?  Any other ideas?

Thats what I was thinking when I ordered series 2, taking a gamble that the boxes of 12 would be sealed which I lucked in. Not sure whats going to happen this time around. Just have to wait & see.

I would guess this means that they open cases for the people who only order 1-2 and they need to combine opened boxes some times to get it back to 4

With series 1 & 2, HLJ sold them individually for 780 Yen, this time they are selling them by the box of 12 as far as I know.

Dale, didn't they have this caveat with series two as well?  I remember talking to you about it.  I can't imagine why they'd bother cracking a master case to send four separate boxes :-\  It wouldn't make much sense.

My guess is they'll be sending master cases but want to cover their butts on later orders, perhaps after they've opened some master cases???

I'm sure they open the master cases & pack them according to there orders, 1, 2 boxes & so forth. They may even do it to store them on there shelves in storage.

Not sure the last order I had was a master case as the 4 boxes were loose & no sign of the master case cardboard box. Makes no sense to me ethier repacking them.

I got a sealed master case of 48 of Series 2 from Toynk.com .  I may go with them again even thogh they are a bit more expensive.
