Was there ever a Production # given on the Box Set?  Becuase I'm wondering if they'll keep shipping

Best of luck Simon, I appreciate the effort even if you do get skunked.  Its a shame there isn't a limit and most of them are winding up on Yahoo Japan  :-X I guess if there was a limit though, we would all be SOL too :-\

Looks like TRU Japan's Website is expecting the FIVE-pack on the 11th of December!

TRU Japan 5-pack listing

So judging by that, this boxset costs 3,499 Yen out there, correct?  If I run that through Oanda's currency converter, I come up with a price of only $33.37.

Is that correct?!  Seems awfully low to me, though I was expecting something in the $40 range, or thereabouts.  I was going to be happy to buy a couple of these for that price (one to open, one to keep boxed), but if that's likely what it's gonna run for one of 'em on eBay (if Simon's luck doesn't get a whole lot better), then I'm cutting back to just one of these things...

Man, the Kubricks are really starting to give me a headache, I tells ya'!   :-\

But don't sweat it Simon!  I definitely know the feeling of trying to track down some HTF exclusives for friends here, and coming up short.  Nuthin' you can do about it, so thanks for trying, buddy!  Maybe you'll still get lucky though, who knows...   8)

Welcome to JD Illford_Brimley.  Very nice pictures.  8)

I will still say that that R5-D4 is very impressive. R2-Q5 looks sweet too. Very nice to see them loose, Thanks for sharing.  :)

Illford_Brimley thanks for the great pictures.

Can you tell us if the package is the same size as the Speederbike set?

I'd like to get an acrylic case for mine from Oscar.

Artoo, not sure if they are the same size, as I don't have the Speeder Bike set.  But judging from pics I've seen, I think they may be exactly the same size.  It has the same design, and the same window... Size looks perfect for one bike, and two kubs.

Peace...

Well,  I BIN'ed a Toys R Us 5-pack from honorius.  I am paying $68 for it, and that is less than some are, so I am cool with it.

Very nice Matt, I did the same thing with the same seller on the weekend. Picked up 2 for $60. each. Seems to have alot of them, once the cheaper ones got Bin'd, he bumped the price up abit but still not to shabby. Hell of alot better than what I have seen them go for thus far.

Thought I'd get up another photo of the complete collection before Medicom anounces another exclusive or series.

And I'd just like to publicly apologise to all the people I was trying to get the set cheaply. I also had to get mine on the after market, and I'm still pretty PO'ed about TRU not limiting the sales. Even if it was just so I could get one at cost. Anyway, better luck next time and I won't be able to make any promises unless they are selling them through the Collectors Club. :-\

Very impressive pic!  Those individual Kubricks sure look sharp stacked in their cases.  So, if I'm seeing things right, that 5-pack from TRU is actually a little longer than the speeder bike set?

Yeah it's fractionally longer and abot half as deep. The actualy dimensions are L - 30cm, H - 12cm, D - 5cm. Sorry I have no idea what the imperial measurments are. I'll let the North Americans work that one out.

Awesome picture. Yeah it looks a little longer. I notice that the Carbonite Block doesnt fit in one fo those little cases either.
