I don't know what happened.  I lost it and bought the bounty hunter 6 pack.  I feel bad like I ate a gallon of ice cream.

I'm hoping that Uzay snowtrooper is like the shadow trooper, and ends up being $50-60 when the dust settles.

I guess it all depends... it seems like the carded figures that are tied more closely to "vintage Kenner" things (like the Droids R2 & Droids Fett) seem to stay around the $75-100 mark while the ones that have nothing to do with Kenner (Shadowtrooper, Holo Leia) seem to be the ones that drop further in price.

Since Uzay is kind of niche homage to the vintage bootleg stuff, it will be interesting to see where the demand will lead the price... either way I'll still end up with one.   :)

I started collecting carded Kubricks a few months ago. I was going to open them, because I wanted the Droids Fett and a couple others just loose. But then with the disappointing announcement (for me) of series 8 and 9, I figured I'd shift my efforts towards the carded stuff in general.

So here are my latest acquisitions, thanks to Simon, plasticlab from KN and a few others:

Really nice Matt! Moving up to the big leagues are we? Does this mean you have a bounty hunter set on the way?

Thanks guys, and sorry for the crappy pic...my camera just absolutely sucks.

Yeah, I guess I am going to get the rest of them slowly but surely. Don't have the Bounty Hunter set on the way yet, but I've been scoping for it. The Jorg Sacul seems a little silly to me though for the price they go for.

Did they think they were bidding on the whole set or am I missing something?

That is just crazy, must have thought it was for the group. If so then that's what you get for not reading the description. Who knows, the bidder may have been drinking while eBaying.  :D

The seller has been selling singles of the set: bearsxl

If so, someone got one helluva deal on Fett.

Well, I had something really strange happen to me tonight...

I was re-arranging my display shelves and while I was moving some stuff around, I noticed that my Droids R2-D2 bubble had completely detached from the card.  Since it was in an Oscar case, it wasn't noticable until I grabbed the case to move it and the bubble tipped right over in the case.

I tried in vain to re-attach it, but failed miserably.  As a precaution, I went back through the other 9 carded figures I have and they all seem to have nice firmly attached bubbles.  I have no idea what could have caused R2's bubble to pop off - just a weak glue job I guess.   :-\

The thing that was so strange about it was that I had been going back and forth about dropping the cash for another one to open to go with my Droids 3PO, so in a way, I guess fate made the decision for me.   :P

It can breathe!

Ok, actually it sucks and I share your pain - it happened to my vintage 21-back Power Droid.  Just hanging there in a star case then flop, the bubble comes off :'(
