Series 5 is scheduled for release on Nov 30/05 according to RoBBy's site and HLJ is showing a Nov release.

We just have too wait, also keep watching eBay as we get closer.   ;)

Well the great Droids R2-D2/Morgbug saga is finally over.

You'll recall that like Dale and Scott, I too was screwed over by Andy Tong >:(  I'd originally jumped on one of his auctions at a value around $90 or so.  Long story short, I never received the item and have been hunting one ever since.

As time passed and funds permitted, I've been bidding on Droids R2's but I've had a limit a little lower than the usual selling price (~$80) and have lost several auctions by only a few dollars.  A short time ago I again lost an auction on an R2, this time by only a dollar and my max bid was $72.  Fortunately the seller (in Canada) had two of the Kubricks to sell and I woke up the following day with a second chance offer :o waiting for me at my bid price.

That R2 arrived today ;D

That's the intent, at least at the moment.  The card has some light scuffing on the top right to ease my guilt.  But I'll leave it carded, like the Leia, until I get stuff displayed at the new house.  So it'll be in the plastic prison for quite a while yet.

Sorry Matt.  It is new stuff though, just old-new stuff.

Well the great Droids R2-D2/Morgbug saga is finally over.

Congrats!  That's one less competitor out there that I have to worry about...  quite a few times I've seen the buggo bidding on an R2 I was interested in.   :P  ;)

Yup, only carded Luke and the other loose Fett chase to go.  Still waiting on my other loose Fett chase though - damned Canada Post.

Nice score Morgbug! Good luck with the others.
I`m still staying away from carded stuff at the moment, financial reasons
mostly  :-\

I`m with you Matt, I got all excited when I saw some action here. Not that
buggo getting R2 isn`t great news, but I was thinking series 5 news as well  ;D

Congrats Brent, nice stuff.  8)

I received my 2 boxes of 40 Kuby display cases from Simon today. Looks like I'll be set for awhile, now I can finally display them.  8)

As for Series 5, sorry, no news yet,  A few weeks to go I'm afraid but it will be worth it.  ;)

It eases my guilty feeling just a little now that I know you finally have one...  ;)

The shipping costs that I have received from over there have been bag on. Yes it is pricey but not much you can do about it.  :-\

Best thing I have found to do is let someone else in the US with money to spare by them. Eventually you find people on Ebay in the US with them. Dumb logic, but it saves the pocket book. And you have to be patient.

I scored a Tusken Raider yesturday with a BIN of $9.99   SWEET!
I let one go the other day for $18 with $10 dollar shipping, that's insane. See how it pays off.
Anyone got a ben for sale??
