Jeff and Mikey - you guys are both using the same display cases, right?  Remind me what they cost again, and where you find 'em please...  (forgive me, I don't wanna go searching for it).  Mikey, did you screw yours into the wall?  Looks like it.  No problems with that (plastic cracking)?

Let's start a new thread.

I thought about doing that with the Series 5 pix, Tony, but we usually go to about 50 pages per thread, and then start over, so we've still got a ways to go...  ;)

Johnny Lightning Storage Cases, $6.99 each

I haven't seen them at TRU or Target lately, but I haven't really looked lately either.

There's already holes in them for the screws (that come with it, along with drywall anchors so you don't have to find a stud)
Common sense isn't so common

Nice thought Simon about Luke, it didnt even cross my mind. I hope they do one with a blue saber as they have done with the Cantina band member. I dont want it to be an actual chase figure, but you guys know what i mean. That would be another awesome nod to the vintage line.  ;D

The blue saber would make sense.  That could be the minor chase, and the major chase could be the Blue Snag.  Two nods to the vintage line in one series.  :D

So were the only couple spacial problems with the Kubricks fitting in those the Carbonite Han and the Gaffi stick of the Tusken Raider?  Is IG-88 standing up straight?  Looks like it...

I just hate committing to a specific type of display case before a line has run it's course.  Often, a display item (like the clear acrylic 3-teired stands at Bed, Bath & Beyond) winds up being canceled before one gets a chance to finish displaying all the new (and upcoming) product on it, and I can't stand inconsistent displays mixing and matching a couple different methods.  Decisions, decisions...  Argh.

Yours look great though, guys.

That looks really cool! Where did you get those cases from?
I have been thinking of redoing some of my SW room to make more space
and do something to avoid D U S T.
How big are they, approx?

Thanks Adam

They were made by a company that went out of business I believe and sold through the YoJoe site 2 to 3 years ago.  My wife and parents got me one of each for my birthday in 2002 I believe.

Ahhh...here is the old story I had done on them

Display Cases

None of the links work anymore.  I'm trying to figure out what the company was that actually made them.

OK, with Series 5 coming out it looks like I'm back to ordering another Master Case. I think the other 2 boxes will be spoken for and Matt Brand, are you in?  :)

You know it!!!!!!  Thanks.  :)

It is written, it shall be done.  ;)

Yay!  Thanks again Dale.

Nice collection photos Scott!  I just went to Ikea today to shop for kitchen stuff, and found a great cabinet that I am going to get to hold all my vintage SW and all my Kubricks.

Hey all, I just wanted to let everyone know I am selling all of my non-Star Wars Kubrick's.  I know many of you collect other Kubrick's than Star Wars.  Please head over to Kubrickworld to see my list if interested.  I'm minifig over there.  Probably a bad time to sell with the release of series 4 & 5 upon us.   ;)

Released on the 29 JUN, 2005 at japan medicom toy exhibition 2005
* The actual release date on 9 July, this stock buy from medicom exhibition only

Seems to be a Medicom Toy Show there today. He mentions the actual release date is July 9th which puts it for the release date of ROTS in Japan.
