I've got a couple of questions, does anyone know of a site with a detailed list of the SW Kubricks that have been released?  It would be nice if it had the series & exclusives, because I'm confused by the carded figures (what's the deal with them?)

Well, you're at the site for that!   ;D

First, there is the stuff Dale Mentioned above:

For in-depth reviews of all the Star Wars Kubricks so far, check out the:
Medicom Kubrick Features - just clicky on the pictures on the features page for the reviews of the Early Bird set, Series 1, 2, 3 (Series 4 coming soon!).

Also, there are the past and present threads which are a wealth of info:
New Star Wars Kubricks...
The Kubricks Strike Back
Power of the Kubricks!
Revenge of the Kubricks

And, for a quick look at the figures so far, you can always check out the JediDefender Kubrick Image Database.

Last. but certainly not least, is the JediDefender Kubrick Checklist that JesseVader08 is working on which will tie everything together.

I'd say you'd have a hard time finding a site out there with better coverage of the Star Wars Kubrick line than ours!   ;)

Welcome to JD my fellow Arizonian.  This is where all the action is on Kubrick talk.  Dale, answered your questions feel free to PM me and we can talk over the phone (Ares X or RyanForce) should have my number or PM me and I can give it to you.  Or we could meet to chat about Kubys if you decide to delve into the line.

DBK

I'm a newbie to SW Kubricks.  I have 4 of them right now, and I don't know if I want to go for these because some of the chases look cool & I don't want to go paying crazy money for those and the exclusives.

I've got a couple of questions, does anyone know of a site with a detailed list of the SW Kubricks that have been released?  It would be nice if it had the series & exclusives, because I'm confused by the carded figures (what's the deal with them?)

my 2nd question is, where do you order your master cases from?  To those that do, do you go through and open every box until you find the chases and then sell off the opened extra figures?

Thanks in advance

Is it real or is it fake?

Why would you take it out of the plastic to sell it?

Exactly.  If it is real, that seller really hurt his chances of selling it (assuming others will become careful of fakes as well).

Thanks, but I needed a lot of input from the kubrickaholics on staff (Jeff, Scott, Dale, Matt) to get this list done right.   :)

I probably wouldn't touch anything out of the clear (sealed) plastic bag myself.  Too risky.

If you noticed though, the seller also has 3 extra Vaders up for grabs too, all loose.  So it's entirely possible he just opened 'em all (from a case, maybe), like a dumbass, and is now ditching his extras (since he'd have 2 Stormie Hans from the case).  I dunno, just a possibility.

But since it's opening at $53, which is already close enough to market value, is it really worth it?  I could see if it was sitting at $20 or something low like that, maybe taking the risk, but not at $53.  That's just me though.  I know elbuggo likes to live on the edge...  ;)

Wow, tough call there!
I , for one, wouldn`t buy a loose one unless I knew the seller or had dealt with
them before. Han & Luke Stormies are too easy to make.
Maybe there is a way to tell from the inside of the helmet or looking for some
tool marks on the figure, but you`d need the fig in hand to check for those
types of things.

BTW, Ningyoushi is sold out of Luke Troopers now.

Not the edge, but Han is creeping towards $60 (Ningyoushi price).  There's about three ending this weekend so if I don't end up with one of those, I'll likely jump on the Ningyoushi (if it's still there).  I was wondering if you folks would be as cynical as me ;)

Check that.  I think Ningyoushi's price was $60 earlier in the week, but it's been bumped to $65 now.

Yeah, that would be a tough call. As mentioned it's going to be tough with customs and not getting a good look inhand.

thanks for all the help with the Kubricks info.  I've got plenty of reading material now.  You guys have me leaning heavily into starting a new line to collect.

Yeah, I agree.  That's why I just bit the bullet and bought the chase I needed (Han) now before the fakes really start to hit the market.

I think it's been shown it's pretty easy to fake the Stormie Twins, so I agree that I'd be very leery of any auction where Han or Luke is not in the baggie... and heck, with a heat sealer it wouldn't be too hard to get them back in the baggie either.   :-\

Yep, it can be done. I resealed a loose figure awhile back to see what the seam would look like. If a person who does not know anything...  :-\
