Series 5

I'm going to guess that the next TRU box set will be a Droids series.  C-3PO can be done easily with only changes in paint/plastic colour.  What else would be included is a bit tough to pick.  I'd like to see the R2 in here, but for the same reasons I listed for Drew above, I don't think it will happen.  Jord Dusat, Kea Moll, Kez Iban and maybe Tig Fromm?  I don't think we'll see Sise Fromm as it may be too hard to make a Kubrick that wide?  Uncle Gundy?

Not too sure how I feel about more Droids Kubricks.   :-\

I'm not really into collecting the vintage figures and I've only got the carded Droids Fett in the Kubrick Line.  I guess if they were cool enough, I'd probably break down and pick up a set.

As for Sise Fromm, they did do the Penguin from the Batman Movies and he is pretty wide compared to a normal Kuby...

Eek, that's a perfect body for Sise :o  I neglected to add the A-wing pilot to the list for Droids Kubricks.

I'm honestly not expecting them to do it, but they seem to have some fondness for it given they've done Boba and R2 already.  The best set they could do would be C-3PO, R2-D2, Tig Fromm, Sise Fromm and an A-wing pilot.  I'd much prefer that to the coming dreck with K-3PO and the rest ::)

Well after Jeff started me on the Kubrick line with the Series 4 Vader… I finally added to my collection of one with these guys:

And so it begins…

I bought one of the Johnny Lightning modular display cases to give them a home, but I'm not sure if the Carbonite Han will fit. Anyone got an idea?

Carbonite Han fits OK in the JL case, but it is kinda crooked...

Here's an old picture (which reminds me I really should take some new photos of my renovated SW Room):

You can see the block down in the corner at kind of a strange angle, but he does fit.

Man, these cases are not all that tall. With Vader's helmet on, it's touching the top.  :-\

Wow, Vader's helmet really does add a lot of height.  Even though it's a tight fit, they really do look good that way.   8)

IG-88's case just  balances on its' head. They are actually made for Bearbricks which are all a standard size.

On that, the case are for sale again through the Bearbrick on-line shop, so you might see some pop up on eBay. I have to get about 40 more the other earthquake sensitive little fellas.

Nice to see that they are coming out, Thanks for the heads up Simon.  8)

I stopped into Wally this morning and picked up some Hot Wheels Stack-up cases, they come in a 3 pack for $3.00 CDN. Not the greatest display cases but will do for the time being.
