It weighs 1.75kg, so that is the expense right there. Not much can be done about that. I think I mentioned the same problem about the weight a while ago in this thread.  :-[

I guess it makes them $4 each including shipping for a box of 20 shipped to the US. That's expensive but they look good.

Well it's not like shipping within the US, that's for sure.

BTW, did I mention I can ship stuff to the US cheaper than I can WITHIN Canada ::)  At least for small packages.  Talk about your ****** up postal system.

Actually EMS is quite cheap when shipping the light stuff. Actaually, it sometimes costs more to send stuff to far North Japan using a domestic shipping service than it does to the US. Go figure.

And if you reckon that is high, check out the EMS on this auction.

HOLY!
120 shipping? Is that way overpriced or is the death star thing really
that big/heavy?

On another note, WOW! Never seen that before, very cool.

I can`t wait for matter transporters to be invented, so they can just beem

It's absolutely huge and heavy. It weighs about 7kg (25lbs), hence the $120 shipping.

looks cool! do those cases have foot pegs? Im living in japan so the earthquakes knock over my toys (much to my wifes amusement!).

my intentions with thekubricks  is to eventually frame them in a deep frame, then stick the frame on the wall. Im going to wait for the series to finish first, and until I have all the chases I feel neccessary.

earthquakes? do they happen often?

i stick blu-tack to the bottom of their feet so when someone knocks my cupboard of kubs, the damage done will be less..

Nope no foot pegs, these cases are actually designed to hold the Johnny Lightning cars so the cases are actually standing on it's side...
