I am hoping they don't do concept figures. I would much rather have a chase Droids figure than art figures.

I'd rather not, the chase are expensive enough without drawing in mainstream, non-Kubrick buyers as well.   :-\  Yeah, it'd be cool, but a huge pain no doubt.

I really believe alot depends on today. They have to know Celebration IV is happening this week. A perfect time to make a new announcement. If nothing today, i really fear for the worst.

I'm relatively new to collecting Kubricks so if Serires 8 is announced today, where will it be posted? I am guessing on Medicom Toy website or is it somewhere else like Slave1.jp ete?

I agree, with both C-IV and the 30th Anniversary this week, it'd be the perfect time to announce Series 8.
