I picked up the new version of Taxi Driver.  For some reason, I didn't have this film in my collection yet.  I should be flogged.

I love Christopher Lloyd and Danny DeVito in that ....
This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient, but I do love Fig Newtons.

I picked up the first 3 Die Hard movies at Target last week for $20. Though, I feel Fox will screw me when LFODH comes out on DVD with a 4 pack, with 2 discs per movie.  :-\

I've been looking for Bogus Journey for a few years now.  I'm not paying more than $5.50 for it.

Anybody remember House?  No, not that show on Fox.  It was a cheesy horror/comedy kinda like the Evil Dead series.  I caved and finally bought the first two from Amazon because I can't find them anywhere else.  Also scored my Short Circuit 2 for $5.99 there as well.

Good stuff

Picked this up at Wal-Mart for $5...

My Short Circuit collection is now complete! I also picked this up for a mere $1...

Four cheesy 1950's sci-fi movies for a buck. Can't beat that!  ;D

House is awesome. Tone perfect movie. I keep saying that Gragra is based off of his creature/wife in the movie.

20th Anniversary of Robocop is due tomorrow. I may pick that up.

umm....I hope I'm reading this article wrong, but it appears that Paramount/Dreamworks will only be supporting HD DVD...I'm all for digital clarity and all, but I'm just not ready to dump my entire "standard" DVD collection just yet.  I'm hoping that this just means that they're dumping the Blue Ray format and are just sticking with standard DVD's and the HD stuff.

I dont mind upgrading as long as the players are backwards compatible. I am not dumping 800 DVDs and rebuying them all.

I'm with you on that. Then again, maybe that's what VHS junkies said when companies announced they would go DVD only from then on.

Perhaps but that is a whole different format. A disc is a disc. They can make a DVD played to play them all the question is will they.

Me either - I finally jumped into HD the other week and bought an up-converting DVD player.

300 and Episode II both looked kick ass on it.  "Near 1080p Quality" is what they bragged on the box.
