I am not buying this line, but i do think it looks very nice. Still a pass for me though.

I'm curious to see what the rest of it looks like and what the size is. I really like the scene, and the first shot looks awesome.

The pre-order for the "Yoda Vs. Count Dooku" Diorama is up!
The Exclusive version is already sold out, but if you ask me, the regular one is much better. Who wouldn't rather have a colored version?

Did anyone see that the exclusive version of the Yoda Vs. Dooku is a really terrible looking faux bronze version? There's only 100 and of course they sold out in just a few minutes, but why would anyone want one of those when you could have this beautiful colored version? Furthermore, how are they going to have an exclusive version of this, but not have one for the first one they did, the Obi-Wan Vs. Anakin?

In other news:

I've been reading reports that the hands are really loose on the Obi-Wan Vs. Anakin statue. I figured nothing would be moving on this thing since it's a statue, but I guess I shouldn't assume. For the amount of money we are paying for these, they should be perfect. I'll know on Tuesday when mine arrives.

I think the people that buy the exclusive version will most likely get one of the regular versions as well, and then pose them together....that's what I would do if I were getting these.

Odd about the loose hands on the Obi-Wan vs Anakin....perhaps these are some sort of modular thing you have to assemble.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

I'm reading a lot of comments from people that said they wanted it simply because they are only making 100 and something like that should certainly hold it's value. That brings into question why you would be buying it though. Are you going to resell it or keep it? Hmmm.

Well, I got my Anakin Vs. Obi-Wan today and I'm real happy. This thing looks better than I remember from Celebration IV and it's so heavy! As for the complaints about the loose hands, I can understand how that would sound bad, but they have magnets in them to make sure they don't fall out. I questioned why they didn't just attach them and ship them complete, but seeing them in person and realizing how delicate the hands with the sabers are, it makes perfect sense and I'm fine with it. Well done Sideshow....bring on the Dooku Vs. Yoda.

I got my shipping notice for the "Look Sir, Droids" piece. It should be here on Monday. I'm really hoping this thing looks as good as the pictures I've seen.

Well, I decided to wait until tonight's Tampa Star Wars Collector's Club meeting to open my Diorama. Everyone thought it was just stellar. You don't need a Hasbro action figure when you've got one of these. Absolutely amazing piece. My only complaint is the lack of detail to the inside of the pod. There isn't an inside really. I got #98 of 1250 which has to be the lowest number I've ever gotten on anything.  ;D

I'm pretty excited about the next Diorama from Sideshow. "Duel of the Fates"! I'm hoping that they'll do the three of them fighting on the catwalk. That would be extremely cool. However, no matter what they do, I'm sure it's going to look cool, so I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures.

Duel of Fates should actually be in the Versus section as it not suppose to be a Diorama... but the larger scale Versus piece.

My only complaint is the lack of detail to the inside of the pod.

What about the missing Sandtrooper footprints?

It was the immediate thing I noticed when I first saw the photos on the website.

I didn't even notice that.  :o Hmm...I'll have to take a look at it tomorrow and see what it looks like again.
