Basically you've got to buy 4 figures to use it, but the price drops to $5.39/each.  And we like that.

Our local Target has figs for $2.24 each, so that means you have to buy 12 and the price drops to $1.82 per figure.  Now that's funny.

Anyone tried the coupon yet and had it work/not work?

WM cdn just jacked up figures by a buck, and the Build a droid (BAD) line has been found in the TRU computers for $12.99 each...although according to Hasbro that price is highly unlikely....but then again when have they told the truth.
School has been on strike all month. so much for the summer job I was hoping to get D:

My one semi-local TRU doesn't have a great collection of figures right now, but I'd like to hit up that sale.  That's like $4.50 or so per figure for 3, isn't it?

Well tax is not the same in every state, so that is hardly "exact."

The TRU sale is a good deal for most people/occassions, espcially if you want figures in multiples of 3.  The Target $5 coupon gets you close depending on number of figures desired, so if you want 4 figures or 8 figures and the Target assortment is better, splurge on the few cents extra per figure.  My local Target has figs for just $2.24, but if I buy 12 of them, I can get the price down to $1.82, plus tax of course.  ;D

TRU @ $6.99         Target         Target Local
1 Figure      $6.99    $6.99       $6.64    $6.64       $2.24    $2.24
2 Figures      $13.98    $6.99       $13.28    $6.64       $4.48    $2.24
3 Figures      $13.98    $4.66       $19.92    $6.64       $6.72    $2.24
4 Figures      $20.97    $5.24       $21.56    $5.39       $8.96    $2.24
5 Figures      $27.96    $5.59       $28.20    $5.64       $11.20    $2.24
6 Figures      $27.96    $4.66       $34.84    $5.81       $13.44    $2.24
7 Figures      $34.95    $4.99       $41.48    $5.93       $15.68    $2.24
8 Figures      $41.94    $5.24       $43.12    $5.39       $17.92    $2.24
9 Figures      $41.94    $4.66       $49.76    $5.53       $20.16    $2.24
10 Figures   $48.93    $4.89       $56.40    $5.64       $22.40    $2.24
11 Figures   $55.92    $5.08       $63.04    $5.73       $24.64    $2.24
12 Figures   $55.92    $4.66       $64.68    $5.39       $21.88    $1.82

bull****.  Read it again.

$4.66 + tax.

Assuming the TRU price of $6.99 is nationwide, it's 100% exact.

Hoollee panties in a bunch.   :o  I thought you meant $4.66 with tax added in, which to be fair, isn't that big of a misunderstanding based on the way you wrote it.  ;)

I checked our local TRU today to see if there was anything to pick up with the Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale, but unless I wanted an army of Holo Vaders, Elis Herlots, or the polka dot clone, there wasn't much there.  Just as well, I didn't really need to spend the money, but thought I'd pick up some more Stormtroopers, Biker Scouts, or AOTC Clones if they had them in stock.

Hasbro REBATE deal
Click on the link to read the hasbro voucher deal...  (this was in my local Pittsburgh sunday paper coupons)

HASBRO PlayRewards deal

Basically, for every $3 you spend on SW (and other brand) until 3.23.08, you'll get a rebate coupon
for $1 (33%) of that amount for FUTURE SW purchases...

-BUT- (ding ding ding  ;D ;D ;D ) its *retroactive* back to Feb-1st.   If you're a receipt-keeper (like
I am), then you can send in your old receipts for free bootle...  Ive already got the $150 in receipts
to send in for my six free figs ($50-worth)

Hope this helps the average Joe Collector out there.

-BH

p.s.  you dont have to send in UPCs/Proofs-of-Purchase, *JUST* the original receipts.
Also, you *do* need to verify that each of your star wars toys is in their list of elegible toys, but it
looks to be complete.  Also, you can add all the toys you bought on a 3x5 card, and dont have to fill
out multiple rebate forms for lots of items.

Han shot FIRST. Luke threw TWICE. And it was THX-1138 who wasn't at his post on the big screen back in '77. And I first learned that Vader was Luke's dad in the cinemas at the Tampa Bay Mall in 1980.

Shitbiscuit. Nowadays I toss most of my receipts immediately, and just keep track via the instant-updated online banking and the monthly statements. I'll do a bit of digging but it doesn't look promising.

But it's a really sweet deal for everyone else who's organized. Thanks for posting it!
