I caught this over the weekend and thought it was pretty good as well.  Probably the best story of the three, and definitely better than the 2nd movie.  Again, without getting spoilery, it would be interesting to see where they would take the franchise from here on.  There was definitely a sense of "finality" to it I thought, but I'm sure they are going to make more with all the money these things bring in.  I think Bay and Shia have both said they are done, but you see that a lot with franchises like this and many times they come back.  I know Shia takes a lot of grief, but I find him pretty entertaining in these roles for the most part, and I do think you'd miss him somewhat from the franchise.  If his character wasn't back, they'd really have to go in a different direction.

I have yet to see it. Probably will at some point, but if this current plotline is done, they could always do a reboot. One of the changes I would make is to have the robot modes more recognizable, so you can tell who is who in battles. I would have like to have seen them do a movie based on All Hail Megatron.

I'm actually a fan of Shia's.  I loved Disturbia and even Eagle Eye and Holes is a movie I'll stop and watch if I catch it on TV.  I didn't care for him in Crystal Skull but that was mostly because I didn't like how they shoehorned him in as Indy's son.

I'd watch a TF film without him, but it would kind of suck having to start over getting to know a whole new character.

It was alright, better than the second one. The new girl didnt add anything, kind of wanted to punch her int he face throughout the whole thing. Would have preferred Megan Fox.

I would love to do something else with her.  LOL!

Saw this yesterday and really enjoyed it. So much better than the second one it's not even funny.

I'd love to see a fourth film with new characters. As in post-1985 characters.

Looks pretty nifty, but I'm not a fan of crazy packaging + I already have the first 2 on blu.

I don't like it when I need instructions to open my movie so I can watch it.  ::)

But, I will admit, that's an interesting packaging design.  Since it's a 3 movie set are we to assume that Bay really isn't going back to the well for another film?  Because sucking people into sets like this, and then releasing another film later just always ticked me off.

It was like Harry Potter sets, which they also did for the books at one time.  You could buy this big set that was all the movies that were out at the time, but there were still films that weren't released yet.  So why invest in a half complete set rather than buy the singles or wait till all parts were available and the inevitable THE COMPLETE SAGA set comes out?

Exactly.  I almost mentioned that.  I have a nice slipcovered set and then KotCS sitting next to it, wishing it had a cozy home to live in...

I'll care if they do it better and make the 'formers so you can actually tell who the heck is who. And I'd love it if these guys looked like they do in G1 or 2, instead of the odd looks.

Finally got around to renting dark side of the moon this past weekend. It was playing but I can't really say I watched it.  What an unwatchable mess.  Just scene after scene of indiscernable chaos.  I honestly don't think I could tell you what it was about.

There's also a rumor that Jason Statham would be the star.  The rumor alone is enough to make thenfranchise better than having Shia Lebouf return!
This is the way.

I have spoken.
