I found the snowtrooper/hoth rebel this morning at a local Wal Mart (Minnesota) after their aisle re-set. They looked to have put out about 3 of each 2 pack, but there was only 1 snowtrooper set. I'm sure it will become plentiful enough soon-

After receiving the Jedi vs Sith pack from Santa, I was interested in finding out how repaints were in each.  Based on pics of the other 10-packs online, here's what I found out:

Can anyone confirm whether the 3 Stormtroopers all have different "dirty" paint apps?

They do all have different dirty paint apps-  The one that looks like it may be clean has one "blast" mark on his left knee. If I remember right from comparing them in the stores, the sets all looked the same (had the same patterns)

I'm a little pissed off as to why the Marvel GH stuff is 4.99 yet the SW GH stuff is 5.88 or what not

The Geonosian isn't new, it's a repaint of the one that came with the old Reek Playskook set.  The old one was a darker color and could probably be considered a "grunt" whereas the new one has a more "regal" air to him.

Dang, I totally forgot about the Playskool sets.  I only have the X-Wing one, so I'm less familiar with what was included.  Thanks for the heads up, Mikey.

Also not mentioned is the EP4 Luke.  He now has a blaster instead of a saber.  I also believe that a few of the paint apps on some figs, such as Grievous are a bit different.

There are a lot more repaints in each set than I initially thought.  Although a number of the repaints are very subtle changes, they are different nonetheless, if that's important to you.

I like them and keep buying them but only because I've been able to find good deals online, either at shops or ebay.

Just wondering Brent, is there a particular site you've found frequent good deals?

Hasbrotoyshop.com is where I've been getting them at $4.99 for most of what I've wanted thus far.  No snowtrooper in stock currently   I'm no longer complete and not trying to stay as such, but a snowtrooper is required.

I still haven't seen that damned thing yet either. 

Haven't seen any of the previous couple waves in quite some time, actually.  Tons of the prior sets still clogging the pegs everywhere, unfortunately.  Hopefully those past couple waves start trickling out again in greater numbers for all the folks who have missed out on them.

RS mentioned tonight that there's at least four more 2-packs on tap after those, plus a couple more 10-pack Cinema Scenes of the Cantina Band and a Cantina Encounter.  Interesting.  How many repacks could they stick in those two sets, I wonder...?  Obviously four from above, plus Luke, Ben, Han, Chewie, Greedo, and maybe the Sandtrooper or a Stormie.  Did I miss anyone?  Would they dare make a new Evazan or Wuher?  I'm guessing they'll retool the Figrin Dan figure above to have a whole bunch of different instruments (ala the Luke saber/blaster switcheroo).

I caught 1 snowtrooper set a couple of weeks ago at a Wal Mart, that has been my only sighting of that figure.
These 10 packs are great, particularly at the $20 price point. This line needs a tie fighter though. If they do I'm sure it will be Darth's.

I'm holding out hope I'll find Leia locally since ordering just one set from Hasbro.com costs $10.00  .
