Of course, it would be nice to find the Vader's TIE and Dewback sets first :).

No kidding!  The only thing that has shown up locally so far are the rereleased Jabba and Death Star sets.  It's so hard to be patient with these.  ;)

BTW, if anyone has wave 2 on the pegs still, I'd love to have them, send me a pm!

2008 Wave 2
___ Aayla Secura & Commander Bly
___ Commander Gree & Tarfful
___ Ki Adi Mundi & Commander Bacara
___ Saesee Tiin & Agen Kolar

i'd skip gree and tarfful. they both look to be included in the toysrus kashyyk exclusive next month. i wish i'd skipped that one. i'd gladly trade it for a jawa/tusken raider.

Anyone care to share the Target DPCI for the Vader Tie and Dewback.  Might be the same as other sets but I'll give it a shot.  Thx.

For anyone interested, I see that HTS has the Vader TIE and Obi-Wan starfighter sets in stock for $24.99 each (the older sets are still $19.99, so I wonder if these are seeing a price increase?).  No sign of the Dewback set that I could see, but I went ahead and ordered Vader's TIE - these are sold out everywhere around here.

Ugh, I can't justify $32 shipped for those sets...

HTS now has the Mos Eisley and Geonosis Cinema Scenes up for order as well.  Still not sure why these sets (and the others) are $19.99, but the Vader's TIE/Obi-Wan's Starfighter ones are $24.99.  Oh well, these are sold out everywhere here - and I had a few other things to order anyways, so I placed an order for the Mos Eisley set.  I think I'm passing on Geonosis, at least for now, but we'll see.  Just thought I'd give the heads up to anyone interested.  I don't know about elsewhere, but these things (unless they are repacked/reshipped) sell out almost the quickest of Star Wars merch. around here.

Just out of curiosity - for those of you who pick up the Cinema Scenes (either for yourself or for kiddos), do you keep the "backdrop/display" pieces that are inside/part of the packaging?  I was wondering if anyone used them for display, or kids used them for play?  I've kept them all so far I think, but they do start to take up space.

We try to keep them but after a week or so of play, they are nearly useless.

I kept a few of them until a month ago when I decided to discard them.  They definitely take up a lot of space.  I tried folding the backgrounds and insert pieces and placing them into a box.  Some are big and creases aren't in the right spots for compactness.   Some of the inserts are glued together, so I figured it be a hassle to put them back together for another display.   I have space issues to begin with, so into the recycling bin they went.

I toss all of the boxes immediately. Most of them aren't that great to begin with in my opinion.

It looks like the two new Galactic Heroes (TRU Exclusive) sets are in stock at TRU.com, for $24.99 each, for anyone interested (this is the Rancor and AT-RT sets).

I saw the AT-RT one in-store the other day and decided to pass on it. Now that they're charging $25 apiece I guess I have to be a little more discriminating and I wasn't blown away by the set, mostly because I barely remember the vehicle from the movie. I am interested in the Rancor though.
