Do the knee and ankle joins look fixed in place to anyone else?  Unless it's a center split (50/50) on the middle front knee I can't see how they move.

I think they look fixed too- but I like the vehicle and would love to get a couple.

In another image the front leg shows screws that look like it is adjustable.  It also looks like the awkward gap that runs through the front foot is so the leg can swivel back on itself and put the leg up.

The rear still look fixed though, maybe they're not the finals?

Looks like a pre-production piece from tooling to me and not a prototype.  If I had to guess, what's on display is what we're getting in the box.

At least the hips look like they'll move based on how they attach.  I'm looking forward to this vehicle however it's made.

I'm semi-excited about this. True the scale is off, but this is still a "new" vehicle for us that we haven't gotten used to seeing for years. As well, it's a "blink and you miss it" vehicle, so I can easily overlook the scale being off.

I'll get 2-3 of these. I just wonder what the cost is though. I've heard $15, $20, $25.  If it's $15 or $20, I'll get 3. If it's $25, then only 2.

The price should be around $20 at Target and Wal-Mart, and $25 at Toys R Us.

I'm definitely going for three of these nice tanks. Between V-Wings, TIEs, Separatist Tanks, and these AT-APs, army building vehicles is going to get expensive.

These are awesome. Sure the scales off but that doesn't matter to me. This is definitely a vehicle I'm getting.

No has mentioned that the middle leg is designed to tuck under the belly so that this can walk on two legs as well. 8)

Yeah that feature is pretty cool. The AT-AP is meant to walk on 2 legs like the AT-RT or AT-ST. The third/middle leg is meant to drop down as a brace when firing its main gun.

Ooh that could be such a dirty sentence if read the wrong way...lol

Anyway.
It's going to be a cool toy. I'm looking to get 3 of them. Finally SOMETHING to supplement our clone forces. Hasbro is edging ever closer to the AT-TE. They just better not stop here and think the AT-AP is a replacement for that vehicle. While the AT-AP is very cool, it doesn't match up with the AT-TE at all.
I'm good for the height of this to be the same height as the AT-TE, but the AT-TE would be 2-2 1/2 times as wide and 4-5 times as long if done even remotely to scale.

Here's hoping.

I never new that. It's detail like that that really make me appreciate how much Hasbro cares.
