Episode 2 is definitely a little more appealing visually with characters.  The Outlander has some interesting looking guys in it, Mos Espa's brief moments, Separatist and Republic Dignitaries...  There's some more appeal here than Episode 1 to me, however there are fewer main character choices to me...  E1 really needs main character resculpts galore.  I omitted Jango under the assumption he's coming.  I hope I'm right, otherwise I'd replace almost anyone but Zam, Obi, and the Kamino Clone onto that list with SA Jango Fett...

Surprised so few want a new young Boba Fett by the way.  I personally think that's one of the worst figures of E2...  That and Senator Jar Jar both need a resculpting.  Guess I want them, just not as bad as these others.

That's not surprising to me at all.  It's indicative that young Boba is a crap character that nobody gives a crap about.  Same with Jar Jar.  Same with Jake Lloyd Anakin.  Sure, new figures would blow away their older versions, but nobody cares about the characters to begin with, and everybody's just fine with the figures they've already got.  I think it'll be at least several years from now before you start to see a lot of people clamoring for updated versions of these franchise-killers.

Like others, its mainly the Lars family and Padmes for this movie.  There's still some background stuff too, but many of the Jedi were served with the nicely done ROTS versions.  With the comic pack Obi-Wan, we've got a nice SA AOTC version (or maybe a head swap with the ROTS Pilot version as well), and a re-release of the Evolutions Anakin would be good too.  This list is based on us getting a SA Jango Fett as rumored, as that would probably be my top choice.
