Yup, I would have liked a Lobot.
Back to Vintage Kenner for me.

I won't even hazard a guess at Chase figures other that Jar Jar with his tongue flapping and him as a Senator.

Better than the E1 lineup, but still dissapointed that they're steering away from the OT.

From this moment for all my life. What could I say? Was born to be this way. And what could I say?  Just livin' for today

Once again, I know they are prequel kubricks, but I am looking forward to getting a prequel Dooku, Obi, Anakin, and Jango.

As long as they just do 1 series from each of the 3 prequel movies to get us the main characters, that's fine by me.

I'm just disappointed because there was still a lot left to do from the OT/Kenner type of figures.  I can understand Medicom thinking that maybe the OT was getting thin though I think that is still surprising considering they knew enough to generate some serious excitement with Yakface.  Outside of it being a vintage nod it's a pretty minor background character.

I expect I'll end up with both series 8 and 9 figures.  I'll just wait for them to become inexpensive as I have no desire to order a case.  The chase may or may not be exciting.  If they're OT chase, then I'll be kicking myself but I'll live with that decision down the road.

I know it's a bit mean spirited, but I hope the PT series of Kubricks don't do very well.  The motivation is to drive it back to OT based figures, including Droids.  Much fertile ground there yet.

More importantly I'm still waiting for my ICMG Kubrick :-X

Well if the line continues past wave 10 (ROTS), i can see them mixing the movies in each wave then.

Was there any info on release dates for 8-9?

And now that I think about it, where is Mace?

I saw instinctoy was saying October on his blog for S8 and then next spring for S9. (Feb?)  No confirmation on that though...

And now that I think about it, where is Mace?

Chase figure perhaps?  Or maybe they are saving him for a possible Series 10 - RotS?  :D

I'd think series 10 being ROTS is a very reasonable suggestion :-\

I'd still prefer a return to OT stuff, but a Clone Wars series would be entirely livable.

Durge
Snowbunny Padme (Asajj chase)
Anakin with tatoos
Obi-Wan in armor
Clone trooper (ARC chase)
C-3PO (R2 chase)
Minivans: a sign of the apocalypse.

Before I make a rash decison on these PT Kubies, I'm looking forward to seeing what they look like...

I just wished that Medicom would've continued the OT until Series 10.
