I think I'll get this.  I didn't the get the RT the first time around, and I actually like the cammo on it.  And I like Bacarra (as a character anyways) and he looks halfway decent.

Target AT-RT Assault Squad Battle Pack
I just saw clear pics of this set at Galactic Hunter and for the first time in 3 years I am actually going to pass on this because I think this set really sucks and brings nothing to the collecting table. If it goes on clearance really cheap I may buy it. I am not going out of my way to seek this out or pay full price. The clones look goofy to me. like cheap China knock offs. I wish it was regular AT-RT's to army build and not this order 66 camo thing.

Anyone else agree this sucks?

Interesting...

I think I'll just wait for the eventual 30% off clearance before I grab this one though as $21 in -store sounds a lot more appealing to me for a box of repaints than $38 shipped from Target.com! :P

I thought about it for a second, but the price shipped turned me off. All i really want is the Bacara anyway.

Exactly, me too.

I'll wait for it to clearance and then get it. If it sells out before then (yeah right), then I won't lose sleep never having purchased it. There's no way I'm paying $30 plus shipping online and no way I'm paying $30 at retail. $20 or less and I'll get ONE set and that's an opener.

NOW! Had these been movie accurate, WELL then that would have been a different story. At $30 AND movie accurate, I'd have bought three sets. Oh well. To bad for Hasbro. I think Target is going to eat it on this set.

They are really gonna eat it on this one considering i can't even find it on their site, you'd think they'd want some hype on this new product.
Anyone have a link that works?

From what I understand, the allotment that they set aside for on-line sales is sold out at the moment.

They haven't hit the retail Target stores yet though, so there is a chance they will pop up again...

Well, I have one and I have to say this is easily one of most disappointing purchases of the entire line for me. I only have one, in the package and am absolutely not tempted to pick up a second to open.

I have to agree with you on this set.  It was a rather painful purchase.

By far the easiest pass this year! I almost passed on the Arc pack too but that droid sucked me in. I am trading off the rest. Had they put a camo R2 I might have bought one. Really painful was the Arc ship which I still have boxed, I feel it takes away from the CW Gunship's alure.

Take them back, these will be on clearance for sure.

I got it for the walkers... as much as I hate the troopers, the walkers really aren't that bad.

Say, if you've got an extra one of the ARC pilots, I'll take it off your hands.

I'm apparantly getting it for X-Mas, which is nice...  For $30 you get two RT's, so I'm not griping much.  The paintjobs are meh, but I'm ok with them...  I just wish these were the regular ROTS paintjobs but spiffier/more detailed.  I don't see the need for the new paintjob.  The old RT's sold through so fast nobody had a chance to get a lot of them I'm sure, so I just don't understand a "need" to repaint it to sell it, ya know?

The ARC fighter was disappearing fast at the Target I was at...  Only one beat up one left.  Everything else, easily available, including the figure pack which is arguably quite nice.
