The Rebel Set II was a pain in the ass to find here in MN until recently. I finally started seeing this set (along with the Imperial Pilot set) regularly at TRU, and never at Target, over the last month.

Yeah - same experience for me as well. On launch day I scored one of these at a Target. Never saw this set again at a Target. Never saw it at a WM, but then all of a sudden back in the beginning of September, this set started to show up in good quantities (along with the Imperial set) in TRU.

IMHO it's the best set out of the four new ones. The helmet on Cesi is fantastic how perfectly it fits and Farlander is a figure I've been wanting for quite some time.

Good to hear Reb Pilots II is more readily accessible. I had the same experience as everybody else, a little tough to find at first, but now, not so much.

Granted I haven't been seraching for since I got mine, but I snagged this set on 7/26 at one of my 5 stops that day.
I have been told to go to hell; well at least I will know everyone there!

Has anyone bought an extra Mandalorian set and doesn't want their Jango figure? If so, I'm interested in buying one. PM me!

From RS:

Good News:
Rebel Pilots #3 = John D. Brannon (Red 4, Battle of Yavin), Jake Farrell (as Green Squadron Commander, Battle of Endor), and Shira Brie (EU Pilot, ?).

Bad News:
Due to delays, this last wave of EVO packs won't be available everywhere (aka they will probably be exclusives).  :-\

I think it's cool to see Red 4/John D make the list.  If the Wedge rumors hold out for 2009 also, we'll have had new figures for Red Leader, Red 2, Red 3, Red 4, and Red 5 in the past 3 years.  Does that mean Porkin's will be next?  :D

Shira Brie actually threw me for a loop until I looked up the name on Wookieepedia.  Apparently that's Lumiya's name before she fell to the Dark Side.

Huh, interesting - I had no idea who that was...  well, that's sure to upset a lot of the OT purists then.   :P

I guess Hasbro doesn't want to make all of the Snowspeeder pilots just yet.  There's really not that many that have either lines or screen time.  But John D and Jake Farrell are both cool choices.

Exclusive Evolution sets? Lame. Either Target gets them and charges $40 each or Wal-Mart gets them and nobody can find them. Awesome Hasbro, just awesome.

If I had to pick a retailer, I'd go with TRU as well. But it will probably be Target and start the trend that Evolution sets can be $30 each.
