I'm a bit surprised R3 didn't make it as well, seemed to be on a lot of lists.  Oh well, I'm just happy that EB Chewie made the cut (and VOTC Han, although I doubt he'll make the final list).  A pretty good list overall though - but I'll admit I'd be a little disappointed if we end up with a lineup of EU clones and Sio Bibble :).  As long as EB Chewie makes it somehow, I'd be happy (although I wouldn't mind seeing VOTC Han out there too).

Not a bad list. I am more curious about where these are going to show up

It wouldn't surprise me to see those three end up in comic packs next year or something.  There was a recent issue that featured the Amanin species, Durge is a CW comic possibility, and the Spacetrooper could be another Thrawn Trilogy comic pack with the rumored Thrawn or Karrde figures.

A Tank Comic 2-Pack has been rumored and he was in an issue with Amanin, that's probably where we're getting it.

Interesting results.  I like the choices (WOOHOO Gungan Warrior and Zutton!).  And I'm surprised that after Curto from RS made that statement about EB Chewbacca that it was in fact elligible in the process.

I can also understand about the inelligibles.  My own take?

Amanin alien - Probably destined for a comic 2-pack
Spacetrooper - Comic 2-pack & most likely reworked (Heir To The Empire IIRC)
Durge - Most likely part of the Clone Wars basic figure line.

I'm totally stoked about EB Chewie - and pleasantly surprised about Amanaman.  I'd love to see whatever 'new' version they come up with.

My top 5:
1. Chewbacca (Early Bird kit)
2. Colonel Wulf Yalaren (Death Star Briefing Room 2006 exclusive)
3. Commander Neyo (Treachery on Saleucami 2007 exclusive)
4. Zev Senesca (Snowspeeder Pilot)
5. Zutton (Blue Snaggletooth)

Here's who I'm voting for (and in order of most preferred on down):
1. Shadow Stormtrooper (2006 exclusive)
2. Chewbacca (Early Bird kit)
3. Han Solo (Vintage OTC)
4. Utapau Shadow Trooper (2007 exclusive)
5. Covert Ops Clone Trooper (2005 exclusive)

I'd get a squad of each trooper (5 figs each), and I need 3 more pairings of Han and Chewie for dioramas. So all told if those 5 are voted in, that's 21 figures from me alone that will be bought.

My Top 5:

Blue Snaggletooth
Wulf Yularen
Commander Neyo
Ephant Mon
Gungan Warrior

I'm really happy with the top 20 list, so anyone can win, but I'd be a little upset if we don't get Blue Snaggletooth. I also would really like Wulf Yularen, he should've been a basic figure in the first place.

What a big shock, 30% of the votes went to Clones. Will the madness ever end?!?!  ???

Nonetheless, I'm glad to see the Early Bird Chewbacca was eligible and made the final cut. If you're not voting for EB Chewie, you have no soul!!!  ;D

And here's to hoping the EU Spacetrooper is a part of a potentially large Comic Packs wave focused on the Thrawn Trilogy.

I'll be curious to see how they handle the Bespin Guard.

I was wondering about that, too. Probably they'll just give the POTJ version a new headsculpt, which I'd be fine with.

I have to say that I'm fascinated by Wulf Yularen showing up on this list, as the Death Star Briefing box set was neither hard to find nor overly pricey for what your money got you.  I mean, if released as a regular figure, he'll be a little over 7 dollars, which is 1/5 the original price of the box set at most etailers.  Sure, the Darth Vader sucked, and the Tarkin was inaccurate, but why not just buy the whole box set, get four other Imperial officials, and be done with it?  Am I missing something?

Looking at that top 20, I'm also really hoping the red ARC doesn't win, since I'd much rather have a red repaint of the superior in sculpt and articulation comic two-pack ARC Trooper than a reissue of a figure that has been outdone by leaps and bounds.  Ditto for the 2002 Clone Pilot, whose lopsided stance and subpar articulation has been outdone by the Evolutions Clone Trooper and its removable helmet.  It's like voting for the POTF2 CommTech Stormtrooper over the VOTC Stormtrooper.

That said, the five I'll be voting for are:

1-Bespin Guard (black ethnicity)
2-Chewbacca (Early Bird)
3-Ephant Mon (out of spite)
4-Graxxol Kelvyn (out of spite)
5-VOTC Stormtrooper

I'm wondering the same thing.  Why isn't there as much of a clamor for General Tagge?  He had a significant ammount of dialogue in the scene where you see but never hear Yularen.  And by the same token why no real interest in Chief Bast?  He has lines as well.  As does Officer Cass.  I find the whole fascination with Yularen rather arbitrary.
