. . .and I'd be perfect right now, too if it weren't for that damn Boise State!  How is it that the same team that trick-plays the **** out of my Sooners a year ago loses to East Carolina?  I mean, seriously.  Eh, at least everybody else and their dogs picked BSU, too.

(At least one of us is still throwing a perfect game, though. . .)   :-X

Almost lost a big one last night.  Purdue over Central Michigan was my most-confident pick, and they were up big at halftime, but very nearly choked it away in the fourth quarter, winning by a last-second field goal.

Should be an interesting match-up tonight.  Arizona State and Texas in the Holiday Bowl.  I'm taking ASU, but it could easily go the other way.

This is the first year I've done pick'em, and I've gotten a lot more into watching the bowl games.  Makes them more fun to watch.  I never would have given a crap about, say, the BYU/UCLA game before, but when BYU blocked that last-second field goal, I was yelling at my TV just as loud as I do when the Sooners are on.

Anyway, lot of fun.  Good luck with the rest of your picks, fellas.

You guys are tied as of this morning.  215 a piece.

Tied for confidence points, but that really doesn't count as far as I'm concerned (especially since you guys apparently weren't doing the confidence points at first).  Scott's one win better than me at this point, and it looks like the Texas Tech/Virginia game will be the difference today.  (Go Red Raiders!)  This is without knowing the picks for the Rose and Sugar Bowls, later tonight, of course.

Also, the jinx just keeps on keepin' on:  Three losses yesterday alone!  Ouch!

Oh, so the winner will be determined by correct picks vs. points?

Just want to clarify, being there's so much on the line.

Oh, so the winner will be determined by correct picks vs. points?

Technically, Yahoo goes off points, and not picks.  Case in, uh, point:  In the other group I'm in (DVDTalk), the current leader has the most confidence points, but only 13 correct picks.  Other people have 16 and 17 picks, but not as many confidence points.  But unofficially, at DVDTalk, whoever has the most picks is the winner, and the points are just a tie-breaker.

I agree with all that, so to me, it's all about the picks.  Maybe if you guys had been doing the points from the beginning, it'd be different.

Um, bragging rights, hello?

Have you not been paying attention to pretty much any post "Dressel Rebel" has ever made in this section over the years?  This is very, very important stuff we're dealing with here.  Serious business.

Three way tie (picks not points).

Anyone have Hawaii tonight?

I had Hawaii at first, but quickly changed it once I had sobered up the next morning and realized what I had done.

Yeah, I was hoping to pull off the upset and take the lead.

My dreams of 2007 College Bowl Pick 'Em Champion are all but a dream.

(would've made a nice sig too)....

Just a sig?  **** that.

If I win, I'm having a trophy made up for myself, to display in my home.

Then I will take a picture of said trophy, which I will then put in my sig.

Guess we're all tied up now, huh?  Nice call on the Kansas game.

So, three games left--assuming we're still tied up going into the Championship game, what's the tie-breaker?  Our score predictions for LSU/Ohio State?

Yeah, I needed that win and was just waiting for them to slip up.

If we have a tie, we can use the final score or the confidence points.  I'm leaning towards the final score.

I'd rather do final score than confidence points.

Commish?
