I'll take the Han off someone that is getting this set for some of the other stuff ;). I'm not into anything other than the Han.

The POTF2 figures are a drag and that Chewie is too. Really I think this set is over priced compaired to the Hoth set. If I find this on clearance for a good price I 'm might pick one up other than that it's a pass for me.

I agree. This also falls into the train of thought that there's no reason for any POTF2 sculpts to be used any more.

Yu said it. Anything before POTJ should be melted down.

Great a kit bashed Logray. As I said before I would have been more excited with 2 repaints of the ultra ewok, I would have been thrilled. The Hoth set has this one beat for sure.

If this is the same exact paint job as the VTSC one, we'll talk.

Here are the new pics of the ewoks... definitely the PotF2 sculpts.

Wicket Repaint

Logray Repaint with Wicket's hood

As I said before I would have been more excited with 2 repaints of the ultra ewok, I would have been thrilled.

I would have preferred repaints of the new 30AC Ewok sculpts (Romba/Graak).  Would have made a perfect base for Warok and Wompus.   :-\

Do the POTF2 sculpts really REALLY annoy anyone?  I'm not too disappointed I guess, as Wicket's about in line with the right height, and Logray's a decent semi-tall Ewok.  Teebo would be, at this point, bulky and large by comparison though I think.

I'd have been probably just as happy with a Chirpa repaint though, had they given him a new hood of some sort.  That would've done better aesthetically, but ultimately I'm ok with these I guess.

I have to say yes. It's all in the sculpting for me, the later stuff simply has finer detail which is more pleasing to the eye (at least mine) that no amount of paint can cover up.

I'm a little disappointed with the bright colouring of the Wicket repaint.  It almost looks like something from the cartoon, not the movie.

Agreed on the Wicket, but the Logray looks sharp to me, and I think there's some fine detail there...  Check out the teeth and things.  Reminds me almost of an Ewok in one of McQuarrie's concept arts for the characters, but one that was very close to the final thing, so I'm happy with that...

Wicket repaint is definitely the weaker one.  Needed at least a darker hood color, maybe some finer paint detailing too, to really be acceptable.  It's a weaker figure though.

Does the POTJ Rebel sculpt in this really annoy anyone?   ;)

The Wicket looks really bad to me.  Always thought it did.  But if I buy this, it's not for Ewoks anyway, especially not orange ones.

Spent an hour of my life opening this one up last night. I'm not as thrilled about this set, but for the kiddies, you still can't go wrong;

At-St - just another At-St repaint.

Logs - more solid than I thought, plus the rope is a nice touch.

Speeder Bikers - No excuse to use the old molds. They could have at least used the one Saga Deluxe pack mold. Strike that, least they could have done was leave off the "T" bar. The notable mention is that they can't break apart. Paint job is decent though.

Wicket - seems cheaper than original release.  ???

Gaak - I wish they would have used a different head set since wicket is in this set.

Chewie - ROTS version.  :(

Han - Just the vintage trench coat version minus trench coat.

At-St Driver - different headsculpt from Hoth set, still has loose helmet.

Stormtrooper - Saga Sandtrooper version with dirt.

Bikerscouts - I like the fact that the both have distinct battle smudges.

"Gaak"?  I thought that the text on the box said that the second Ewok's name was Dochee.  Maybe I should have taken a closer look at that when I saw it at the store yesterday.
