If anyone wants to sell me just the ewok, and maybe the rolling log - let me know. :)

Damn you beat me to it. That is my exact thought.

Both the Hoth and Endor sets are $50 a piece. So you actually are getting some bang for your buck.

I think I'm in for one of the Endor set. I'm not a fan of the crappy molds on the Speeder bikes or the AT-ST but really they are just a bonus. The army builders and the ewoks are the best part of this set. Hopefully that speeder is at least the mold with the updated handles that came with the 2002 deluxe clone.

Nope.  Different mold entirely.   It's the TRU 2001 POTJ/2004 OTC version from what I've heard thus far (non-exploding but basically the vintage one.)

I'm pretty underwhelmed by this set as well. I'm only remotely interested in the second Ewok, the At-St driver and the re-paint stormtrooper. The rest I can leave.

I sure hope these pics are not the final product. Han is missing his trenchcoat, and the AT-ST still has the incorrect weapons on it's head that have been used since 1980. They upgraded the AT-AT, and the AT-ST is long overdue.

No they didn't they just re-painted it. Plus, the Coat isn't needed. You can go to KB & still get the original version.  :P

Han ditched the coat at the battle, so I understand, for display reasons why he wasn't wearing it...

About the AT-ST, given it's a battlepack, I'm not really counting on updated parts.  It'd be nice, but unlikely.  To be honest, I get the funny feeling that the AT-ST is out the door before long, and a new one is ushered in.  Typical Hasbro strategy of use it a couple times then dump it (finally) for something new they know we'll buy.

Gotta milk those last $.02 in cost left in the thing. ;)

I'm pretty sure I'll be grabbing this set.  I just acquired the POTF2 bunker to add to my Endor display and need an AT-ST to display next to it.  I don't have a modern one and couldn't convince myself to spend the aftermarket price for the POTJ one.

It'll also give me a few Ewoks to increase the variety of furballs and I'm a very happy guy.

Too bad they didn't include 2 logs and a collapsable head on the AT-ST.  ;)

I really like these sets. Hopefully we'll see more in the future. I wouldn't mind a Mygeeto or Utapua set.

I'd go for those.  I could also see a much better Geonosis set, perhaps with something like this -

- Hailfire Droid
- Forward Command Center
- Battle Droid x 2 (red)
- Super Battle Droid x 1 (TAC)
- Clone Trooper x 2 (Evolutions - white uniform w/ red damage)
- Clone Pilot x 1 (Evolutions)
- Pablo Jill x 1 (POTC)
- Ki Adi Mundi x 1 (ROTS)

You know, they could probably find out some way to put a vehicle in something like that, or create a Death Star turret... I'd think something tall is needed in order to justify such a big box... if they don't include something big, they might as well just go with boxes more like this -

Which would actually be fine with me - it could basically be a long hallway (with a plastic wall) and be loaded with figures... Tantive IV could also be done this way.

There are two logs - one at the top of the package and one on the ground.  As for the collapsable head, you know they can't tool new components outside of logs!

Are we sure those logs are even new tools?   The logs are new to SW sure, but if we went digging through other lines of Hasbro toys, I bet we could find those logs are actually from another line...
