Jason,

So your total will be around $62 for a minty complete Amanaman, not bad ;).

DBK

Yeah not a bad deal I think, considering how much I see Amanaman normally going for. I'm surprised I got it really, what with all the insane prices due to impending ROTS release. Really people, broken down pos klaatu's aren't worth $100!

wow nice pickup, I think it might be time for me to look into Droids figures :P

do you guys specifically look into the sub-categories when ebaying or do you just look in the vintage category overall?

I look in the vintage new today plus the BIN section and sub-categories. I also look by typing the name of what I want in the main search engine.

Mostly I look in the specific category, since I'm not looking for much more than Droids figures at the moment.  Otherwise I do a general search for something like "vintage Yoda".  It returns all the VOTC (and lots of OTC as well >:() but tends to return all the potential items I may buy.

That seller didn't take paypal, something that seems to knock down the price most times.  They also had multiple items ending within seconds of each other.  I was able to get a bid in on the Kea Moll as well, but didn't go high enough.  That said, she still went for under $20, much cheaper than most.  In retrospect I should have gone for that instead since Jord Dusat is often cheap. Oh well, all things in time. ;)  I'm more than half way through the Droids now, I think all I have left is Jann Tosh, Kea Moll, Sise Fromm and maybe one other.

You can also try to narrow your search down by using "Exclude these words" feature on the search page. Come in handy at times.

sound advice guys thanks. my problem is, I never really goto ebay with a specific item in mind. I kinda go for whatever looks to be a good deal and try to pick it up. i just need to focus a bit more.

I finally got a POTF Imperial Dignitary and POTF Amanaman (both C-8+)  ;D
I'm that much closer to finishing the vintage line...

Gregorbian,

Congrats, so how many more to go to finish the line?

I finally and I mean finally completed my 100 vintage figure collection last night  :) ;) :D ;D 8) :-*!

After needing a Lando General's cape for about 6 months, I won an auction for a complete one for $40.00 shipped.  Man it feels good to close those collecting gaps.
