I'll pick the Vader set up (maybes 2), and pass on the Emperor one.

I think these look pretty cool.  I'll probably pick up a couple of each, assuming I can actually find them at retail.   ::)

The OT has been shat upon.

The OT has been getting shat upon pretty regularly, for oh, about the past eleven years or so:

This new "Stormtrooper" is just the most-recent trip to the toilet bowl.

I can, sadly, think of worse things...  I'm forgetting what the figure was called actually.  It's a very odd mishmash paintjob to it.  I'm wondering if half this crap is even in the game?  ???

I don't know if they'll be in the game or not.  I'm hoping they aren't... I just wish that Hasbro could be a bit more creative rather than throwing stupid paint jobs on Stormtroopers.

That's why I like the EVO and Jump troopers so much more than the repaints, but I'm sure this gray one will be in the game, otherwise, why else put it with the FU promotion?

I don't know if this TFU Shadow Stormtrooper is in the "final cut" of the game or not, but he has made an appearance in a few of the promo videos that they have done for the game...

I realize that money supersedes everything in Lucas' world, but I find it surprising just HOW lenient he's been in the number of people involved in EU creation.  The argument could be made that literally anything goes in the modern SW universe, where as little as 10 years ago the rules were a lot more stringent.  Like religion, you have to pick and choose what portions of it you subscribe to: do you accept everything Lucas allows, only what he himself has created, or what SW was at a particular time.  I still like to read some EU and play the games, but for me the only canon is up until about 1985  ;D

I can live with those all black stormies because they were first appeared in some Marvel comic around the same as the first movie.

I think it's blantantly obvious that these OT stormies painted in almost every color of the rainbow only exist to benefit Lucas' offspring.

LOL!  Funny to skim thru the complaints about skittletroopers, then read DA refer to The Force Unleashed as the FU promotion (versus TFU).  Hidden meaning or coincidence?

I'm hoping that I'm wrong, but I'm starting to think that we might see changes to the Stormtroopers in the OT once the 3D Re-releases or the Super-duper Special Editions come out at some point in the future.

Even if it's something silly like re-doing that room full of Stormtroopers that Han runs into in the Special Edition of EP4 or painting each of the Biker Scouts to have camo armor in EP6 - I fear that batallion markings are eventually going to find their way into the OT films themselves.

It's a very odd mishmash paintjob to it.

Yeah jet-black armor is one thing, but this piebald coloring is just asinine.

Maybe when the stormie fell asleep somebody took a can of spray paint to him. ::)

The solid Black or Gun-Metal blackish blue  Shadow Stormtroopers are one thing, even solid Red ones I can see..but these crazy wacky  paint jobs are retarded.
