My theater is pre-selling tickets for this now and after those comments I'm thinking maybe I ought to go buy mine.

I don't know if this belongs better here or in the Other Toy section, but I'll just ask it here:

What's the best Bale-era Batman action figure to get?

Entertainment Weekly had a great article on it.  I am jazzed.

The best one I've seen is the Dark Knight super nice collectors fig--from what I think is called the "Movie Master" line.  They're about $11-$12, and come in inordinately ornate packaging, but are pretty decent figures.  They're the ones that come with "evidence" or something; I think the Batman has a big Batman head or something.  There's also a Joker (which is impossible to find) and a clown thug in the same style.  They're much nicer than the standard line garbage, and the Batman comes in cowled and un-coweled Bruce Wayne variants.

Edit: Found a pic:

Here's the Movie Master Joker:

Matt, like Ryan mentioned, the Movie Moment Batman is the one to get if you're looking for a movie Batman figure.  Good luck finding one, though.  I saw Batman and Joker's goon a couple of times when they were first released almost two months ago and haven't seen any since.  Never did see a Joker.

Apparently, Mattel's distribution is a bit wonky due to switching overseas distributors, but the word is more of Mattel's product should be hitting the shelves shortly.  Wave 2 includes a Batman Begins Batman and a Scarecrow if you're interested.  It's probably a safe assumption that Two Face will be coming soon (I'm assuming he'll be revealed at SDCC after the movie to keep the surprise of what he looks like to those people who have more will power than I do and didn't click the images of him floating around the internets).

I'd have to echo the comments of the Movie Masters Batman figure(s).  I'm really glad that I decided to grab a couple of these when I hit TRU for the Indy release on May 1st.  They had a whole case of these, and I grabbed a Batman, Joker, and Bruce Wayne just in case I didn't see them again.  And, I haven't yet.  Very nice figures overall, for those interested.

I saw the Batman Begins Batman and the Scarecrow Movie Masters today.  I guess they're neat, if you're into toys and ****.

Thanks for the advice, fellas.  Guess I'll look for one of the Movie Masters things, which brings up a new question:

Any major differences between the Batsuits in the two movies?

Does the Dark Knight suit have nipples?

the cowl in Batman Begins measured in at eight inches, six centimeters, while the cowl in Batman TDK comes in at eight inches, eight centimeters. it will give a much more dramatic effect on screen, and in your toy collection.

Does the Dark Knight suit have nipples?

mmmmm. let's hope so.

Yeah, the BB batsuit is more smooth and uniformly black (see it HERE).

The TDK batsuit is a little more...um...jointed and flexible--kind of a carbon fiber mesh that makes it look a little mechanicalish.  There's an okay pic HERE.

And for carp, here's some nipples:

EDIT: I suck at describing things.

One major difference in the new batsuit is that he'll be able to turn his head.  None of the previous incarnations have been able to do that.
This is the way.

I have spoken.
