Yes.  4 games to 2.  The MVP was Evan Longoria.

Three bad call over two games. Not a good trend. One of them last night might have cost Phili a run.  :(

It's not going to matter if the Phils continue to not hit with runners in scoring position.  That same problem ultimately cost the Red Sox in the ALCS and if the Phils don't get their **** together in Philly, it could cost them as well.

I think the only games the Phillies win are going to be the ones with Hammels starting.  The rest of their rotation isn't going to be able to beat the Rays batting.  And if Longoria and Pena ever start hitting, it's lights out.

Can't disagree with that at all.

Yeah, that sucks.  It's kinda tough to hit when every pitch 7 inches off the plate is being called a strike.  Oh well.  I don't like the Rays chances anymore.  I think they had to beat every pitcher not named Cole to have a shot at this thing.

Rob as much as I like our chances, there is no way that anyone should believe this series is over. Now if Blanton wins tonight, I ll be a little more geeked, but this Rays team is still dangerous. Either they are too young to know they shouldnt be here, and win the whole thing, or they are too young and fold under the pressure. At this point I think its the first, but I gotta feeling about us. And unlike most of my feelings on Philadelphia teams, this one is positive.

By the way, I still hate ESPN. You would think the Rays are up 3-0

It's most assuredly over.  They're not beating Hamels, and they're not winning 3 straight.

Oh, and the officiating crew has been downright horrible.

So what's gonna happen with the fans in Philadelphia?  Are they going to be humble about winning their first professional sports championship in 25 years, or are they gonna be like the people in Boston, and turn into a bunch of dicks?

(Sorry, Mikey.)

I wanna say humble, but lets face it, we are kinda dicks anyway and we havent won anything in 25 years.

There are actually giving the city love on ESPN now, its gonna snow.
