The city of Tampa OWNS the city of Philadelphia when it comes to playoff time.

It's psychological at this point.   ;D

Hey Rob, are you aware of any previous history between Balfour and Cabrera?  I'm really curious to find out what the hell that altercation was all about in the seventh...

And Evan Longoria... that boy good!  Without him, the Rays lose that game today.

Not only do I not know of any history between those two, but I didn't get to watch the game.  I don't know why the **** they had to schedule it for the middle of the work day, but I'm mad about it.

As for Longo... yeah, we love that guy.  He absolutely needs to be rookie of the year.

It has been 100 years since they won one, and over 60 since they were in one. They don't stand a chance in LA.

I am a Cubs fan.  This is what will happen.  The Cubs will win the next 2 in LA.  Then blow it at Wrigley Field in game 5.  It is tradition now for the opposing team to win it at Wrigley and make all the fans cry yet again.  Then witness the other team jumping up and down in celebratory mood.  More than likely they will have a lead in the 9th and Wood will magically blow it.

Actually, they will probably just wilt under the pressure yet again tonight.

Sorry Man.  I share your pain, although indirectly, as my wife is also a Cubs fan.  Next year...

Phils win  ;D. Two similar teams in LA and PHL. Hopefully Utley steps up and Burrell keeps its going so Howard can see some pitches.

I still like the Phillies in the series, even if the rest of the country has jumped on the LA bandwagon.

And probably for a whole lot more...

On a happier note, the White Sox managed not to blow a lead today and won one.  Now they are in a pretty good position going into tomorrow's game with Floyd on full rest.  I thought that Guillen was crazy pitching Danks tonight on 3 days rest, but it worked, so I won't complain.

Rays win!

Baseball's never been so exciting (for people from Tampa that is).

I'll jump on the Rays bandwagon

I also like how the Cubs "choked" and absolutely no credit was given to the Trolleydodgers.  They are an entirely different team with Manny and oh yeah, they have the best manager ever.

I wouldn't mind seing a Dodgers v Red Sox series :)
