I haven't seen the movie yet but I thought the monster looked pretty cool.  We have a few different angles of Hasbro's monster HERE if anyone's interested.

I've so wanted to see this movie, but I haven't either.  Seeing the monster, I'm not sure what to think about it.  It looks a sewer rat on steroids experiment gone wrong.

I put in my order for this big guy tonight. Be warned that HTS charges you when you order and not when the toy ships. Kind of a crappy way to do things.  >:(

A quick question for you, John. In the third to last picture in your gallery, is that gray thing one of the Parasites that comes with the toy? If it is' then that is a real ******* disappointment for me, as I was expecting something a bit more for those little guys.

Yeah, the picture turned out lousy but it's supposed to be a close up of a parasite.  I guess it comes with quite a few - 10, I think.

I was wondering if they charged you right away or not. I think I'll wait.

Nobody probably cares about this (Cloverfield = old news) but I finally got a shipping notice for this baby. I'm quite stoked, as I've warmed up to this thing quite a bit. Expect pictures when I recieve it in the mail

Unbelievably, this thing suddenly came back In Stock at Entertainment Earth. I bought one immediately, has been on my want list forever and these things are IMPOSSIBLE to find on eBay, much less at a decent price.

Huge, huge get for me. I'm stoked!

Hell yeah man, that's an awesome score! It's still one of my favorite toys, even after having it for three years. As you can see in the top right corner of this pic, I display mine proudly alongside my Star Wars toys:

Awesome picture, Greg! Mine arrived last night and I am incredibly impressed. I had no idea the thing was so massive, this will definitely be the centerpiece of my non-SW display. I didn't even realize there were electronic features - very cool.

The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the size and lack of detail on the parasites, which I guess makes sense since they are supposed to be done somewhat to scale.

Everything else about this is so awesome though it has instantly become one of my favorite toys. Well worth the wait!

I think I got mine for $65ish after using a coupon code back when HTS had it. Seeing it for $60 now is really making me kick myself for not selling mine on eBay back when they were going for $300-$500. Oh well, hindsight is always 20/20.

Damn, I was psyched to get this thing back in April when it first came back up. But this latest price is insane! It's a fantastic toy...I recommend it highly to anyone who may be on the fence.

It's weird to me now that these were going for such crazy jack on eBay just last year. Sometimes it does pay to hold out.
