The Celebrity Death Thread
« on: January 22, 2008, 09:36 PM »
At what point was it decided to lump all the news about any (and every) dead celebrity into this one, all-encompassing thread, as quickly as possible?  I mean, I understand that news about the average B- or C-list celeb dying of old age or an illness should go in there, and I understand the want to keep the forum free from clutter.

But wasn't the Heath Ledger thing today big enough, and shocking enough, to warrant a thread of it's own for at least a few days, to generate as many views and as much discussion as possible?  It can always be merged into the big thread later on.

Am I wrong?

I agree. I'll put it into its own thread again.
