Yep, those are the ones.  I know at one time I was responsible for one of their sellouts.

But then again, I really did need all of them...   ;D

Good stuff, will be interesting to see what you 2 get. Good luck.  :)

I just checked the status on my MC, it has now been released from customs & is at the PO in Richmond, BC which is just out of Vancouver. Monday or Tuesday I hope.  :)

This is the only series from the prequels that I've bought a kub from. I thought the Vader would look good next to the OT Vader.

Anybody in the UK bought these or anything for that matter from toytokyo? I was wondering what the shipping fees were and if they get hit by customs tax?

On a similar matter is there anywhere in the uk to get these cases from?

I opened mine so I'm now the proud owner of Series 10.  I'm not going to reveal anything about the chase hunt in deference to Jeff so that he can open his with the anticipation of the unknown chase hunt.

Congrats Dan, nice to see a chase pulled from a single box.  8)

On a similar matter is there anywhere in the uk to get these cases from?

I have no idea if these are available in the UK. The only other place I have seen them in on the bay, singles & by the case.

Just to help you out here, the box does have some weight to it. 3 lbs. 11" x 9" x 4". If I was to send a case from Canada, it would would roughly cost anywhere from $32.-$43. US. Air Mail.

The customs fees will be an £8 charge (if it comes through Royal Mail) + 15% VAT on the goods and shipping combined

I haven't bought from them but the shipping price quoted was in the region of $35, so similar to what DSJ was saying as I remember it coming to about £2 per case with shipping (don't forget it was £1=$2 last year) and this was before customs charges and VAT - the customs charges and VAT didn't make it economical to buy them for me. The customs charge and VAT kick in at £18 so even with a good £/$ exchange rate the $37 price point means you will need the $ to do very badly to get cheap cases..........

I haven't found a retail source in the UK but I have picked up some on ebay (both UK and US - the US win was under £18 so didn't incur customs charges) and picked up about 30 cases on here from a UK collector who had a load spare after selling off his collection - so always worth putting a wants in the classifieds.

Don't put anything off while waiting for that.  My box is coming to my buddy over there direct from Medicom and he hasn't heard anything from them yet.

Congrats Evenflow  ;D it's always nice to hear people get chases from single boxes ;)

I've noticed a few Tion figs showing up on the bay now so I guess we might just get that Honorius picture of like 20 of them soon :P

Thanks for the help DSJ and AndyG ;)

American collectors have no idea how easy they have it when it comes to medicom  :-\
