or they just kill him off.

problem solved.

But then how would Mattel sell all their old, leftover Slinky Dog toys in the new Toy Story 3 boxes?

Maybe he'll come down with a particularly bad case of laryngitis.  Or maybe he'll appear in a "Slinky Dog gets his tonsils taken out" sequence.

By painting little goatees on them and selling them as "Evil Slinky Dog", Slinky Dog's evil identical twin brother... the one responsible for Slinky Dog's death!

Does that mean that the family in Toy Story 3 will reside in an apartment building -- thus allowing Slinky Dog's evil twin to push him down an elevator shaft?

Very impressive list.  I think that I'm as interested in the Cars 2 movie as I am about Toy Story 3!

So which are digital and which are hand drawn?

Wall*E - digital
Tinkerbell - digital
Bolt - digital
Up - digital
Toy Story 3 - digital
The Princess and the Frog - hand drawn
Rapunzel - hand drawn ?
NEWT - digital
The Bear and the Bow - hand drawn?
Cars 2 - digital
The King of the Elves - hand drawn?

Personally, I want to see The King of the Elvises.

I think Princess and the Frog is the only hand drawn one, but if that's successful then we might see Disney pump out some more. They're really hesitant about traditional animation since their last couple of movies using that style bombed. (somehow I doubt that the animation had anything to do with that)

Also, conspiratists look no further than this chart for more fuel of the "world ending in 2012" rumors. ;)

The Toy Story movies are still among the very best animated movies ever made, Disney or otherwise.  I can't wait for #3.
