This deluxe line is seriously one of the best toy lines I think I've ever seen. Yeah, I'm passing on most of them (such as the Indy traps and such) but the value is just so great. You get so much bang for your buck, and it's really surprising to see in an age where less is more.

I've only picked up the Indy/Horse set and the German 2-pack and only plan on getting the German Motorcycle (and the Indy/Ark solely for the Ark) but still, with the quality of this line and the low price, I almost wish they just didn't even bother with the single carded line. I think the Horse is one of the coolest things Hasbro has ever produced. I was expecting a Kybuck style "statue" and was pleasantly surprised to find that the horse is SA. Kudos to Hasbro for this awesome line.

1 complaint...  They should've done one with the "pinstripes" on the robes, just to mix it up.

Well, 2 complaints, the hands won't hold the MP40 at all, but still I love this 2-pack and will be buying 2 or 3.

EDIT:

D'oh, nevermind.  The guy with Marion DOES have pinstripes, so the all white robes are actually a cool extra variation on that thug guy.  I may try to make them shorter though, somehow.  They're using the swordsman body which is taller and I just wish it had more articulation.

I'm just glad to get Cairo thugs though too.  I didn't expect them at all when the line was announced, let alone both striped and plain variants.

Nice! I hope the retailers keep these at the $10 pricepoint.  But I fear someone will catch on and up the price.

My monitor is showing the two thugs as having slightly different colored robes.  The one on the left is more white, while the other is more yellowed.

They do appear to be two differnet shades, not sure if it is just the angle of the pic or if this is how they will appear.

Yeah, me too; the sashes are white and yellow, respectively, too.

Yeah there's a slight tinge of variation to it on my screen too, but not a lot.

Interesting to note too that all thugs in Cairo appear to be lefthanded.

Nazis only would hire left-handed ones.  It's a Raiders Cutscene.

The set looks lame, would have been better if they maybe packed one terrorist and a german soldier or something else, besides packing the exact same figure twice.
School has been on strike all month. so much for the summer job I was hoping to get D:

Too bad it wasn't two different Ciaro Henchmen.  I would have bought two sets, at least.

Huh?  Is that Cairo Thug set for real?   Did I really see the future?

I hope it is - I would love to score a pair of those.
