NFL Offseason 2008
Well the NY Jets are out and making some pretty good pick ups. The signed Alan Faneca and traded for Kris Jenkins. Too bad about Vilma though. Calvin Pace was visiting with them on Saturday, not sure what came of it though. So here's hoping for him and some more.

I really wish they would go after Brady Quinn though, he is just sitting there and not doing anything. Cleveland would probbaly give him up.

o how are your favorite teams doing?

Vikings made some nice signings as well  Bernard Berrian, Madieu Williams and local boy Thomas Tapeh, sounds like they aren't done yet and there are rumors of a certain former WR which I wish were true...I'm still pissed they gave him away :'(

Jets just made another trade with the Bengals to get back the draft picks they traded away to Carolina. I like that there is still action going on. And i wouldnt mind them going after that WR you speak of.  :)

Lord knows the Bears can't afford him.

Speaking of WR's, do the Bears have any left?

Sorry guys, but said wide receiver is staying where he belongs.  I'm hearing 3 years, $27 million.  All the recent talk of reuniting with Culpepper, he's angry with the lackadaisical approach the Pats are taking, etc. sounds like a bunch of media made up drivel to me.

Well the Jets make another move, signed Calvin Pace and Damian Woody.  ;D I hope all these new players work out, now if they coul djust pick up another WR and work of the biggest problem they have; the QB position.

I heard that M. Turner (RB) finally landed a starting gig somewhere - Atlanta.  Good to see his raw talent go to a team that won't have a clue what to do with it.
Climbed a mountain & never came back. I will not quit & I always fight back
From this moment for all my life. What could I say? Was born to be this way. And what could I say?  Just livin' for today

Huh, sounds like the real deal this time.

Favre tells Packers he's retiring

Of course, it's a long time between now and next season, so he has plenty of time to change his mind...  :P

Best Minnesota Vikings offseason ever!

That means that the Packers will have to do 1 of 3 things...

1. Trust that their back up is ready to start leading the team.
2. Trade around to get a better draft pick
3. Sign Dante Caulpeper!!!

Either way it is a glorious day in football history.

Daunte Culpepper is done.

They spent a 1st rounder on Rogers to eventually replace Favre - and that's exactly what's going to happen if he does indeed stay retired.  Talk about big shoes to fill...
