Legacy Wave 5 - A New Hope

This wave will probably hit before Christmas.  Timing wise, wave 4 is just starting to hit.  So I think we can expect this wave to hit around the beginning of December.  What's going to determine whether this is 2008 wave 5 or 2009 wave 1 is the figure numbering scheme.  If we go back to BD01 or something to that effect, then it is in fact wave 1.  Regardless of when it ships.

I certainly hope the tables are included after all. These images do look very promising.

EDIT:

The Han and Luke pictures aren't very promising on the table front. It looks like they have the old holsters in the carded samples. Could be wrong, we need a sharper pair of eyes.

Wow- those pics are great.  Brainiac is so 70s-riffic!  The inclusion of the tables is great too; I swear Hasbro has been paying attention lately!  I likely won't need the cantina tables since I made dio versions of them, so maybe we can work out a trade if someone is looking for several.

I'm not gonna count on the tables yet.  These images are usually pretty early high-res shots from Hasbro I think, not factory samples or anything.  They've always appeared to be earlier prototypes anyway, to me.

I want that spacetrooper.  I'm pretty sure that gun is a new mold, looks like a real thumper.  Its pretty neat hasbro is giving us a little more variety in the arsenal.  I'm really excited about some build-a-mechs too.

Also, I'm not sure the droid parts are aligned the way they should be, I don't see which figure the body of the Red R2 is supposed to be with.  None of the pictures on JI have that piece.

The Red Astromech body comes with the Trinto Duaba & Dice Ibegon 2-Pack which isn't pictured.

The droid is really sweet looking, by far the best of the BAD yet. I really hope we get those table since we are paying much more for SW these days......

Per the Yakface QnA this week:

In what will undoubtedly be well-received news for fans, we can confirm that the tables for both Obi-Wan and Pons Limbic are indeed shipping with
these characters after all.  It turns out the the order to remove them (in an effort to contain costs on this wave) were given just prior to Comic
Con but were received too late as the factory had begun molding production pieces.  At that point, it made more sense to keep them rather than remove
them.  We are glad they are able to come out as they are really great accessory pieces.  Finally, on the holsters, they are in fact new in that
they fit the blasters better, with a recess at the back of the pouch.
