Well I just got this in the mail today.

Man, did my jaw drop when I got it out of the parcel box.
Not a scratch or crease on it.  Absolutely MINT.  ;D 8)

Nice score Dale!  It's always refreshing to pull an item that you've been sent out of the package and to see that it's in MINT condition.

I've had two pretty HTF variations get completely ruined during transit by USPS lately:  Dexter with insert and an Ep. 1 Yoda with "Episode 1" printed on the card.  I didn't even have to open them to know that they were thrashed though - I could tell just be looking at the extensive damage to the boxes they were each shipped in.  Truly sad.  I'm not much of a variation hunter, but these are a couple that I've been trying to add to my collection for some time.  What really sucked, was that I got some excellent trading deals for those two pieces as well, that I'll likely not get again.  Oh well, I guess the search for them MOMC continues...

I wouldn't mind adding one of those Mexican 4-packs to my collection as well.  Pretty cool looking - with some nice figures to boot (aside from annorexic Chipmunk Luke).

Goes right next to the Monkey Face Leia.  ;)
Or should I say Monket Face Leia.  ;D

Very good question. I have no idea what they sold for in Mexico. I do know that they are hard to come by, hence my buy through ebay. I tried to trade with a member on RS but that fell through as it did for other members. I did a search  around for what they retailed for, but my search came up blank. I think someone from Mexico could answer the question but I have know idea who.

Update: I looked around RS & found this thread.

Best that I can find so far. :)

Thanks DSJ,my guess would be they retailed for $30 maybe.I wonder what the production numbers were on it as well but I dont think we will ever know.It was a pretty short lived topic but I think they are great.

BTW,if you are talking about who I think you are over at RS that is a pity things turned out the way they did.I stood up for this guy because our deal was flawless and he kept in constant touch with me even after he sent me my 4-pack.After someone exposed him in the vintage section about his shady dealings on E-bay he disappeared.Live and learn I guess.I count myself fortunate on my dealings with him.

Same person. Yes, he has vanished after that episode.
I had other figures online with him.  Just glad I didn't send him anything, though some did.
Like you said " Live & let learn".

I'm try to see if Oscar can make a case for it. It will display very well in his cases.  :)

I have a question to those who have got this;
Do you have all four figs on cards aswell?

Over here in the UK, the Sandtrooper was non existent in my area. I got EW Vader from a trade in the states and Luke was pretty hard to come by, I don't have him or the rebel trooper..........yet.
I wouldn't mind getting the box myself, but being a loose complete kind of person, not having the force files would bug the hell out of me.

I have em on cards as well.I like multi packs and figured I had to have it for my POTJ collection to be complete.Although it is the same figs minus the force files.

I only wished they would of put some sort of backdrop in the box behind the figs for a good visual effect..

Some say that this is a promo only piece. Was it ever released for general sale in Mexico or was it a convention only piece?
