Thanks guys... you know when you figure in the B.A.D. figures, and two Ewoks, this wave cost me around $4.50 per figure.  Really lucked out with these.  The Leia is amazing as already known, as are both of Jabba's henchman... hell, the Rancor Keeper is great too.  Luke has his good and bad points with that weird torso, and the Sullustan (I consider him a generic one) is ok, just too tall for that species.

I'm just amazed by this wave though - the one letdown is Major Panno for me.  He's not bad, but it feels like they didn't detail his head sculpt all that much (sorry Dressel).

The droids are really nice for being repainted existing astromechs:

I too scored this wave today at my local TRU and got the store deal. 6 figures + 3 free + $5 Clone Cash = $46.50  ;)

I've been thinking about this wave for a while now and its really cool and all...but man they just missed the mark on who they put in.

Havind kept and done the wishlists for years now the following are consitently in or near the top 10

Kithaba
Vintage Nikto
Wooof
Nien Nunb

Instead they gave us Giran, the Barge Nikto, B-Wing Nunb and the Rancor Keeper who nobody asked for.   So instead of what we got...what if it was:

Wooof
Kithaba
Vintage Nikto
Nien Nunb
DSII Luke
Slave Leia
Paploo and WICKET
Major Panno

I'm all for obscurity but I'd rather have well known or vintage update obscure over what this wave had.  Sour grapes I know because they all look amazing and I can't wait to crack open my case tonight :P

Scott, to a large degree I am with you. A lot of upcoming figures are very WTF? (AT-AT Driver as you mentioned Rancor Keeper, ESB Green EE Astromech redo)

While I am happy to see upgrades out side of the not at all needed AT-AT Driver the choices are a bit puzzling. I figured we would have got Ackbar, MF Pilot Nunb, Yakface, Gammoreaon Guard before we got a dirty fat slob with a fetish for an ugly beast. Vintage Nikto and Wooof are high on my wants list but I am sure we will see a few next year. Nevertheless this is truly a great wave with a lot of new figures when compared to the TPM wave. My hope for the next ROTJ wave is:

Admiral Ackbar
The Emperor (New head and ne thicker material for cloak)
Royal Guard (Darker red and improved soft goods.
Gammorean Guard
Skiff Master Weequay
Woof
Wicket & Logray Resculpts
Leia Ewok dress resculpt

The droids are really nice for being repainted existing astromechs:

To pick a nit, R3-M3's torso is retooled around the... er... neck?  Brains?  Whatever the little bits and pieces are around the top, I'm pretty sure those are modified just slightly.  I haven't looked closely at the dome versus previous domes yet...

And Giran remains impressive after the new-figure-high.

Do you usually make it a habit to study & compare different domes?
Binders full of astromechs...

That depends. Would it be more or less disturbing if my answer was yes?

The head sculpt for R3-M3 is similar in design to the domes first used on R2-A2 from the Toys"R"Us exclusive "The Battle of Hoth" multipack and two of the clear domed astromechs (R4-A22 and R4-E1) from Entertainment Earth's Exclusive Astromech Droid Pack Series I and Series II.

Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered the wave plus Rum Sleg, and using the code SW2009 the total order came out to the same price had I bought the figures at retail.

Just scored all of this wave minus Nein Nunb (not in stock) at Hasbro Toy Shop.  Also, the coupon codes (SW2009, SW2010) would not apply.

Just a reminder that both of those codes are "1-per-account" use.  If you've used them in the past, you can't use them again... unless of course you set up a new account with a different e-mail address.  ;)

I tried SW2010 just for practice (did not actually order) and it rang up with a discount.   ;)

I'll sit and wait it out until retail. I have been biten in the ass one too many times with HTS asinine shipping dept. Wrong figures. Never receiving figures. Cancelled orders. The list goes on...

I ordered the entire wave an hour or so ago so no hunting for me until the WM exclusives hit.

Wow.  I've never had any problems with them - outside of Comicon issues and the whole FedEx/USPS shipping thing which can be a headache.
