Good grief. What a miserable idea. Ten years ago I never would have believed Star Wars whoring could hit the lows we've seen lately. I miss the days when Episode I Monopoly was the tackiest tie-in around. :-\

Last nights show showed a preview of upcoming shows, including the SW Leias.
I thought it said that the SW show begins on Monday, April 14th (a 2-hour special)

Ill record it to the hard drive...
Han shot FIRST. Luke threw TWICE. And it was THX-1138 who wasn't at his post on the big screen back in '77. And I first learned that Vader was Luke's dad in the cinemas at the Tampa Bay Mall in 1980.

Good grief. What a miserable idea.

26 gorgeous women, all in Slave Leia costumes.

Yes, it's horrible, this idea.

[carp] You shouldn't start a sentence with a number. [/carp]

Sorry.

That's all you got?  I was hoping it'd be something better than that.

Reminds me of the time Darf Slofus got onto me for starting a sentence with "But."

You're right.  How I pine for the days of the classic trilogy, where any merchandizing and tie ins were held to the tightest benchmarks of taste and quality.

It wasn't too bad tonight.  It was really cool seeing the Stormies walking up - then down the steps (almost o66ish).....but the slave Leais had them beat by a landslide.   ;D    Chewie was obviously some NBA dude judging by the way he was walking (when he was)

That was the stupist thing I've ever seen since the time C-3PO guest starred on Password Plus in the 70's. Thank the Maker I had it on the tvio so I could scan the show in about ten minutes for anything good. Didn't find anything and deleted it instantly.

How come about half the Stormies had helmets that didn't quite look right?  Am I the only one who noticed it?  My wife kept laughing that Carrie Fisher was all over the first contestant's husband.

Looked like customized Stormies, was that the 501st guys?  I thought they were just because of the varying helmets.
The lady contestant almost made feel ashamed to be a Star Wars fan, way toooooo geeky about it.  The guy, depsite the 26 slave Leia's in front of him, didn't totally come off like the guy that still lives with his mom in the basement type.
