Switching out body parts.
« on: June 24, 2003, 01:57 PM »
I recently saw an ebay auction that included a vintage figure with his head removed.  There was a little stump left.  Last night I popped off an Imperial Commanders head and placed it on a better conditioned body of the same figure.

Can you do this to all figures???  Are the arms and legs able to be popped off too?  What's the best way to do it so that you eliminate possible breakage?

Thanks for your help.

The best method is called Boil & Pop.
Here is a link that will explain it all for you.  ;)

How to Boil-and-Pop

You can do it to most of the figures. Heads, arms & legs. Though I would not want to do it with a expensive figure.  :o
A great way to make custom figures.  ;)

Hey, thanks for the link Dale.  That was the most informative site on this method I have ever seen.
