Marvel Mighty Muggs
« on: August 23, 2008, 08:40 PM »
Please merge this with the other Marvel Toys thread if it should be included there instead.

I stumbled upon a Spiderman Mighty Mugg at TRU today hidden on the top shelf and just couldn't pass it up. This is my second Marvel Mugg, I also have Iron Man. I've never been a huge superhero fan but I like a few of them enough to buy in Mugg form.

Anyone else buying stuff from this line?

Ugh, I loathe Mighty Muggs. Just seems like Hasbro is trying to grasp onto the fading "urban vinyl" toy fad, just like they did with Star Wars Customs and the whole "Chopper" craze.

Of course, that's just my opinion.

I picked up the Spidey Mugg also.  Saw the black Spidey last week and almost bought that one also.

I hope they make some Nightmare Before Christmas Mighty Muggs but probably not because they are Disney.

Really looking forward to the Cobra Commander.

Do you mean Venom? The one with the tongue sticking out?

I've picked up the Spidey Mighty Mugg for my collection, but that's it so far.  I do like how the Marvel ones look overall though, maybe even more than the Star Wars ones.  It might be the comic book aspect that makes them just look a little "better" overall.  If it wasn't for all the other stuff coming out taking up budget and space, I might have grabbed some others from this line (I've looked at and considered Iron Man, Cap, and Wolverine as well).  They do look great though.  I'll probably grab the Black Spidey if/when I ever see it, but it depends on budget.

Has anyone seen the Iron Man MM in their area? I can't find it anywhere.
I remember my dream now.

I saw the latest wave (Silver Surfer, Wolverine, Human Torch, Galactus) at a local Target today.
