Honestly though, I'm surprised that this kind of thing doesn't happen more often, or it at least isn't shown in the media. It seems like it would be really difficult to coordinate hockey, basketball, and indoor lax playoffs along with the other arena uses (concerts, WWE, and that kind of stuff.) I don't think that there is any way that the Nuggets/Lakers game won't be at the Pepsi Center on Monday night. It will be interesting to see what that lawsuit looks like though. :-X

i can't believe the nba didn't check the schedule there and just push it to tuesday.  since its the finals its not like there is alot of other games to schedule around.

Hopefully, these 3 rounds have toughen them up.  Their offense has got to be one of the best (if not the best) in the NBA.  Their defense can be strong.  They've responded after each loss so far in the playoffs.  Whoever comes out of the East will present their own set challenges for the Lakers I'm sure.  It's all about the matchups and adjustments in playoffs.  For now, I'm going to enjoy the rest of the Cavs/Magic series.

It would be something if the Magic channel the '03-'04 Pistons and really take it to the Lakers.

That would be another colossal upset to be sure.

I still gotta stick with my original prediction of Lakers as champs.  The Magic do not have the D that the Pistons had when they beat the Lakers.

I think the Magic will beat the Lakers in 6.  The Lakers struggle in pick n roll defense and guarding the 3, both of the Magic strengths.

I think it will be a tough series for the Lakers since the Magic have both an inside and outside game.  Can Gasol and Bynum slow down Superman?  Defense will be key for both teams.  The Magic won both regular season games and got pretty balanced scoring from their starters.  Jermeer Nelson was a huge factor in both games, but since he's not around for the playoffs, it'll be interesting to see how that impacts the matchups.  The Lakers need to get both at home to start this 2-3-2 Finals format.

It's being thrown around but seems unlikely.  Magic mull possible return of Nelson for finals

Since when has Kobe started chewing gum during a game?  I saw it for the first time yesterday.  Wanna be like Mike?

Fisher was clutch when it was needed.  Fisher, Ariza, and Gasol were my MVPs for game 4.  Kobe couldn't hit FTs in game 3.  The Magic couldn't hit FTs in game 4.

It kills me that millionaire basketball players can't make free throws. Have a good summer knowing you cost your team a championship.

**** you Kevin McHale >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Minnesota Timberwolves fire coach Randy Wittman, name Kevin McHale as replacement

Since McHale is stepping down as vp, maybe that means they can fire him free and clear after the Wolves continue to suck the rest of the year?  Scotty, would you be willing to trade a 21-61 season knowing it will get rid of McHale for good?

Finally.

(I should note that McHale did manage to out do my prediction and go a whopping 24-58 instead of the paltry 21-61 I guessed.   :P)

Man, I can almost hear Scott crying with joy over that.  Guess it's back up to Hibbing and some fishing.
