I think it might just be the picture quality, but the Obi-Wan looks kinda thin.  Looking at the high-res photos and the Toy Fair slideshow I'm still confident it's going to be an awesome figure and I'll buy multiples like I did the AOTC Obi-Wan.

The other one from this set I want is the Gungan Warrior.  A few of those interspersed in my Naboo battle scene will look great.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Kenobi IS sorta thin necked in TPM though.  I think Lucas was trying to give him a less mature look due to the age of the character.  I think McGregor beefed up slightly for AOTC and almost definately for ROTS.

I was actually thinking his slightly thinner sculpt was kind of neat, to display his youth.

A couple nice new shots of Rum Slegg came out, with and without his helmet on.  Nice to see some more of the details of his noggin and such.

I always wondered what was under the helmet on this guy...  I still don't really know.

What, is this supposed to be Hasbro's homage to Jason from Friday the 13th?

I could imagine this guy in the cantina. He adds to a strange Halloween texture, that for me is evident in the scene, along with Labria, Helrot, My'oom and Trinto.

Also on this evidence if/when Hasbro get round to doing Cantina spacers i think wer'e in good hands.

Well there was the spacer Danz Borin, ( http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Danz_Borin ) in the cantina. So Rum could easily be customized for that, if not completely accurate.

Also Borin has been on a few rumor lists`recently. A guy in a white and grey spacesuit? Or is it the yellow flightsuited pilot that was reused for Bossk?

EDIT- just seen the wiki entry. Thanks.

I'm guessing that someone saw a proto of Rum Sleg and assumed it was Danz Borin...which is why he is on the list.  Not that I don't want a Danz Borin but it is an odd choice over a lot of the other Cantina Monsters

It certainly is. That hadn't occured to me but it makes a lot of sense. I supose Danz is way down there on my list for that scene- though i wouldn't be suprised if we get him in the future.

Considering how Hasbro have pitched Rum sleg as an aggresive and obscur character that they belive to sell well regaurdless of recognition - does this open the floodgates for more Mos espa spacers?

Three days before Sdcc09 is a mistery wath wave from OT we will see.

Haha, hilarious. It's funny how a guy like this could end up in the Star Wars movies. He does look like Jason! It's creative on Lucas's part on how he keeps his mind open for Star Wars.

Moving on to the Wave 8 itself, it's somewhat disappointing that a SA definite version of Darth Maul wasn't included in the lineup. We're getting him for the Greatest Hits line, but it would have added a core character into the mix.

And why did Hasbro use an Ep.6 pic of Palpatine instead using one of the common holographic Darth Sidious pics?  ???
