G4 is running an hour long special on the Watchmen today.  During the first half hour there's a section on the Black Freighter featuring my friend Danny who directed it.  I was too busy and missed it while everyone was watching it at work today, but I'm told that it's around 8 minutes long.  Allegedly, I make about a 5 second appearance in it staring at my monitor.

If anyone is interested, it's supposed to be on again tonight at midnight eastern.

If someone can please capture the five seconds of Rob, loop it into a two hour reel, and post it on YouTube, me and this bottle of Astro Glide will be much obliged.

Watch it here.  Rob, what time frame are you on & can you screen capture it, pretty dark at the monitor scenes.  :-\

Looks like the BF stuff starts around 19 minutes in.  But there's quite a few guys in front of monitors, and the resolution is pretty poor.

20:40.  But really, it's nothing spectacular.  The impressive (and weird thing) is seeing Danny all over the special.

I'll check it out later at work, hopefully it will be quiet tonight. The special so far looks great.  :)

I watched the Watchmen special during some downtime at work last night in the link I posted above, pretty good. A little dark but you can see Rob staring searching Pron working posting on JD sleeping in front of the monitor.  :P

Yeah.  We initially filmed ourselves working to give Warner a pile of b-roll footage of the studio and the production for use in a behind the scenes type thing for the dvd.  Then I guess they shared that footage with G-4.  The shot that's in there was right as the battery was dying, and I think the guy with the camera had told me to 'hang on for a second.'

That is the funniest, and most disturbing post I've read in quite a while.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Bought my ticket for the midnight showing Thursday!  I'll be picking up the DVD tomorrow (or some day this week) but I'll probably wait till Friday to watch it.

I'm planning on leafing through the Watchmen graphic novel tomorrow or Wednesday night in prep for the movie.  I'm really looking forward to this!

WHAT?  It's not enough you get to see Fanboys, now you get to see a sneak peek of Watchmen?
