Legacy Wave 11 - Revenge of the Sith
« on: December 5, 2008, 11:36 PM »
Hey, since I'm in a thread starting mood tonight...  why not get this one started since it's the only 2009 wave left without a thread.   :P

  BD xx TBD
  BD xx TBD
  BD xx TBD
  BD xx TBD
  BD xx TBD
  BD xx TBD
  - Build-A-Droid: ?

I'm not sure if anything has been confirmed for this wave or not yet, but I'd like to see that Senate Duel Palpy finally make it out this time...

Here's a mix of what I think we'll get and what I'd like:

Anakin/Vader - Derek Thompson concept art figure
Padme - Sang Jun Lee concept art figure
Yoda - Senate Duel
Utai 2-pack
Nute Gunray
Merumeru - Wookiee Captain
B-A-D - BD-3000 "Bettybot"

Got any links for the concept figs?

I'd LOVE to get an Utai set. One short, one tall, like the Jawa 2-packs from yesteryear. I'd buy several sets of those.

I like your other choices as well. I'd however include Senate Deul Emperor in place of either Nute or Merumeru.

And SPOT ON for BD-3000.

Heck that one can EASILY be repainted (all metallic inks please). Red body/silver limbs, or green body/gold limbs

Since it would be a build-a-droid, we could mix those up and get a red body/gold limbs or green body/silver limbs

Maybe even a black body...several opportunities here for Hasbro to reissue new decos!
I'm just a humble collector trying to make his way through the universe...of toy aisles.

All I really want is the two main Palpatines, Padmes and the Utai.  Otherwise, IMO ROTS is the most complete of the 6 films figure wise (with ESB being a close second)

Yeah, I've always thought they did a pretty good job covering ROTS during the movie year (and since then as well, there have been several waves/figures dedicated to ROTS).  Like Scott, I'd like to see the two Palpys, Padmes, adn the Utai - and maybe some new scaled Magnaguards.  Otherwise, the lineup doesn't look too bad.  There are some subtle changes that could maybe be made (like ball elbows on the Evo Anakin), but otherwise, ROTS is pretty well set.

Agreed with both of you. All we need from ROTS is a SA Senate Duel Palpatine, SA Office Duel Palpatine, the various Padmes, an updated Magnaguard and the Utai. Maybe a variation of the new Grievous with two fixed arms and a soft goods cloak. I wouldn't mind some Wookiee army builders either.

Looks like a new Agen Kolar is the first figure to be confirmed for this wave...  seems like a strange choice to do given how often they crank out the RotS version in the box sets and Legends line.

I thought the ROTS figure was outstanding really, and only needed maybe a softgoods skirt (totally softgoods, not just part of it), and cloak...  So he could sit and all.  Kind of an odd Jedi choice to me, but whatever.  I probably will buy him anyway regardless.
