My only complaint is they did not update Mace's skirt area to take advantage of the SA articulation, Roth is affected by this as well. Overall I am very excited about these sets & to finally get a good standard version of Kit Fisto that does not look like Ronald McDonald.

I will be buying a lot of these sets to troop build/customs!

Awesome pics, and definitely an upgrade from most of the Order 66-2pks in term of quality.

However, I'm in the minority on these I'm sure as they just don't seem that exciting to me... probably because there's a lot more coming out this year already that I'd rather spend my dough on.

For one of the few times, I'll probably wait for something to go on clearance before I spend my money.  The best news to me is probably that these WILL hit clearance since they're going to be carried at Target.  But if I miss them, I probably won't mind.

The folding Battle Droid is definitely a nice touch!  Liking all of the Jedi, although the skirt on Mace seems like more of the same.  Well, my exacto knife can take care of that.  It's also good to see a new cloak for Yoda, too.  That's been overdue.

Just so I know I'm clear... since these are "Geonosis Arena" sets, all of these characters / figures actually appeared in the film right?  They didn't sneak any generic EU Jedi in there did they?

Those are all Jedi from the movie.  Joclad Danva gets some screen time while fighting, and you can see Roth-del Masona on one of the gunships.

Good deal.  I already like these a lot better than the Order 66 stuff.

I don't know about this guy...

I definitely remember a blue-suited Mando named Jango Fett in AotC, but I can't seem to place this Purple Rain reject mando in the film.  And don't even get me started on his jetpack coloring...  ::)

Hasbro is fully aware, they will rerelease him in blue so we buy this figure again. This one is BS! They should have just made him blue. Especially since they got the color right before the evo figure.

That purple is just horrendous.  Especially when you compare it to the blue on the helmet.

We even asked about getting a proper deco one this year, in either the repack avenue, or in this 2-pack, and Hasbro I believe hinted around that it might happen in the Geo 2-packs...

Yet, this looks worse.   :'(

I admit, this one's pretty bad, but at leas Colman Trebor's a massive step up from his previous figure.

Like JOT said, I think they're aware, and I think they'll sell us another Jango at some point all properly colored...  The new ARC Troopers now have movable range finders on their helmets, so maybe they'll fix that detail too on Jango...  Or sell us another figure even later on with that.  ::)

Look at the left arm he looks like he molded out of grape Bubble Yum or Gummi Bears:

What's with the Pimple deco on his nose, he needs to squeeze that thing. ;)

Plum flavored gummy bears?

I was hoping that it was just the light that the picture was taken under, so I compared it to a photo of the Evo Fett, and the blue on the helmet is a very close match, the purple/plum is different, but not in a good way.

I think Hasbro is definitely milking this.  Why else would be this one of the few figures where the color diverges so drastically from what we expect.  And since it happens again and again, it isn't just an error at the factory, the problem is further upstream.

In April they said they'd "try" to blue him up for this set, but they were fairly sure even then that it was going to be too far along to change it, so I guess we were warned.  They did say back then (April I think) that a corrected blue one is coming in 2010 though...
