« on: January 11, 2009, 11:18 AM »
Hey guys- I recently completed a Dagobah diorama, and have the finished pics here.  I have a lengthy WIP thread over at the otheR Site if you're interested!

Very cool.  What did you use for the water?
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Thanks!  The water is liquid resin mixed with a little tan acrylic paint.  Here's a couple of pics with the light in the hut.  I bought a string of 25 X-Mas lights and only one yellow one was needed   ::)

Customizing's not been my thing lately DB, but I just have to say that's simply amazing.  I've never seen anyone do as well with dioramas as you ever have.  Stephen Hayford's damn close though, but really your Dagobah here has usurped any competition you ever had. ;)  Very nicely done simply due to the intricacy of the trees and what I assume was a pain to do the resin water/pond stuff.

Any info on your process making it is appreciated reading on my part.

Tremendous work!  The hut looks really nice.  Any chance that you might add in a cave for Luke's confrontation with the dark side spirit of Vader?

Wow! That was some serious detailing, so life like. This has got to be the most radical custom dio ever!
Great job!

That looks amazing!

Fantastic details abound, and the water looks completely realistic.  This is such a dead-on scale recreation of the look and feel of the original set.  The addition of light is brilliant as well...awesome work.

Thanks guys!  I want to do the cave, but I think it's going to be a separate mini diorama later on.  I did consider putting it in though!
