Not a bad wave.  I like that we're getting a new Yoda, and the droids are pretty neat as well.  Loathsome is a nice figure, but I don't quite understand why they will make that figure but not someone like Nahdarr Vebb.  I echo the comments on "Trespass" versions of Anakin and Obi-Wan.  I could take a whole wave from that episode with Anakin, Obi, Rex in "Snowtrooper" get up, the Talz, and either or both of the blue skinned aliens (name escapes me at the moment).  Hopefully we'll see those soon.

I"m curious about the 4-A7 droid. It's a maybe for me. I'll definitely get 2 of the commando droids. I think it will work enough with the realistic figures to fit.

I think there is a connection between Ashoka and Obi Wan animated spacesuits with the ones showed on Baron Tagge 70īs comics.
Luke was depicted with an orange spacesuit which was a bit out of the patron of uniforms for star wars characters.

Hasbro can blend these features to release a Luke and Baron Tagge comic pack, upon that suits.

Clone Trooper Echo is nice, he has an accurate expression although his head is a bit square.
Hasbro should remake his head for the realistic colection, I mean clone troopers and stormtroopers.

I will be picking up the Yoda, Obi-Wan, and both Droids. Only reason I am getting Obi-Wan is my Jedi Knight collection. Otherwise I would pass since the Spacesuit concept annoys me.
I have been told to go to hell; well at least I will know everyone there!

We've got carded front and back shots of CLone Trooper Echo for you on the front page...  Nice little bios on the back for the new figures.  Pretty slick.

We have a new loose shot of General Loathsome on our front page.  Head on out and check it out.  He's actually almost interesting enough to pick up, but he has a much more heaviliy animated look than some characters so I doubt I cave and get him.  I'd really enjoy having him in the collection though.   :-\

For some reason I am just not that into Loathsome.  Although he kind of looks like Ephant Mon's design which I really liked.  Maybe it's the pastel looking colors?

More new images to share...

Check out 4-A7 (and his neat spy footage holographic accessory), Obi-Wan Kenobi (Space Suit), and Master Yoda (softgoods coat) out on the front page!  Got a neat shot of the holographic spy thing too, for 4-A7.  Folks should recognize it from the movies, as he transmitted it to Assajj as something of a major plot point.

EDIT:

Also check out the Clone Wars 2-packs thread, as I got a couple new images of Fives, and a good detail of how Captain Rex is different.  Movable Rangefinder, etc.  Fives has a nice Tattoo shot of his "5" in aurabesh on his noggin' too.

WE've got carded shots of the Commando Battledroid and Yoda on the front page.  Head on out, and check out the gallery that's full of other figures in other waves as well!

The Commando Battledroid and Echo are the must haves from this wave.  I must admit, that episode (was it Rookies?) was my favorite of the season.

The Commando Battledroid should come with a removable clone helmet though. . .

A fellow with a site called Star Wars I like (from Asia I believe) had some nifty pics of it up, loose, showing off the articulation.  This, like the IG-86 droid, is heavily articulated and poseable.  He had it scissor-locking Clones around the neck and stuff.  Pretty funny.

It looks pretty slick to me...  I think it'd be neat to make a scale bodyglove for it, and slap on all the removable armor that the training Clone came with, to see if one could make a reasonably half-assed one in disguise. ;D  Making that glove might be tough, but worth it for the novelty of having one with a removable disguise I think.

I'm not sure if I'll buy the Commando droids though or not.  They look realistic enough and Hasbro's staying with the, "We won't make realistic figures of the animated figures" mantra.  I may buy one or two, leave it at that, and hope for a better (realistic) one down the road.  Droids have looked like they translate between the lines better to me (IE: IG-86), so I may go with that just to have a couple of them.

No sword though it appears.  That's a little disappointing.  I liked the hand-to-hand aspect they had.

I'm pretty sure one of the commando droids in the upcoming battle pack (which I'm waiting for to get these) comes with the sword and has the unique 'leader' markings as well. I'll try to find a picture....

EDIT: Here you go, it's from some otheR Site:

It's a link to the actual image which is way too big to post.
