I've heard they have their own space, like on an end cap.

It'd be nice if these WM exclusives were all out at the same time instead of a smatter here and there, but it's WM.  I'm just lucky enough to have found the eVo packs last week.

Looking forward to this beast though - if I can find one.

I picked up my third one and I think I will stop there, I have a feeling this will be out again in a new spiffy color within 2 years or less. I was leaning towards four but three settles well with me.

I think you will be able to find this no problem, just give it a little more time. Every store I go to has and end cap with spill over into the regular aisle. Evolutions and the CW 2pks are another story.

I had sort of planned on passing on this, simply because of there being so much to keep up with at the end of the year here, but seeing that picture makes it more tempting.  It looks pretty spiffy there, and a lot taller than I expected.

It really is a massive looking toy.  It's amazing how Hasbro's figured out some of this stuff is "just air" with the spindly legs and all, and that it can be made to-scale or incredibly close.  This one's just huge though.  Just look how it dwarfs the Turbo Tank.  That's pretty sick looking.  I'm so happy at the scale of it I'm actually excited for this piece.

I hope there is a ROTS deco version in our not-too-distant future.

I'm betting so, but will it be exclusive?  I hope not.

I finally found one! WOW! I was really hard pressed not to buy TWO...they had several to choose from and it looks awesome! The thing has some heft!

The funniest thing is, it showed up at the last Walmart I would have expected..the extra ghetto location near my office.

Keep looking - if it's made it here it should be everywhere soon!

I saw a couple of these at our local WM today, just stocked with the regular "Starfighter Assortment" vehicles (these are priced higher though, right?).  I passed for now, but might have to check back after pay day to see if there are any left.  I noticed that Wal-Mart (at least ours) now has a Clone Wars "feature" section (where the Joe movie toys used to be) up, which was packed full of red carded Clone Wars figures, and a few red carded Saga Legends, with the starfighter vehicles down below.  Still no space for the larger vehicles though.

I opened this up and put it together yesterday, and it's always dangerous to label a figure or vehicle "one of the best ever" after just getting it, because you're still in the lust/honeymoon phase, but I can only think of a handful of vehicles so far as good as this one:

Homing Spider Droid
AT-TE
Hailfire Droid
B-Wing
Correctly scaled TIE fighter
Republic Gunship
ARC-170
Corporate Alliance Tank Droid
Imperial Shuttle

I'm sure a bunch of you guys would add a few to that list like the BMF Falcon and others, but I think most of us would put this octuparra in the Top 10%.

I stick by my statements of one of the best vehicles ever. I have been with this since 91' and I do not get the honeymoon thing personally. However in general I do not disagree with your analogy. I really love this vehicle!

Just picked mine up. Excuse me for being to lazy to go back one page and give the right person credit, but if it wasn't for those awesome pictures posted showing this thing relative to the ATTE and Tank, I would think I just spent $35 on a regular, not so exciting vehicle. Thankfully I know how huge it is.

My point being that I think Hasbro really missed the boat for selling more of these by not showing how big it is or stating some dimensions on the box.

Once again thanks a lot for those pics on jd!!!!!!!!

The size of this vehicle is pretty impressive. I also had a lot of fun putting it together, you don't get to do that a lot these days.

You have to wonder if a slightly larger/better Sith Infiltrator could have been had if they had thought of a way to have the customer spend a few minutes "building" it first.

I agree with Nick - if they had put this in a larger box, people would be more inclined to think of it truly as a "bigger" vehicle and therefore justify paying the $10 more...

Hmm, seems I was pretty close to the mark to with my photoshop analysis (posted on 5/14/9) considering I wasn't taking into account the full extension of the legs.: http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=18829.msg425346#msg425346

I found this last night as well. Haven't opened it up yet, but I'm looking forward to doing that tonight.

$35 seems a little steep, but at that size I think it will be worth it. I've decided on just buying one though of this deco. I'll wait for the inevitable movie tan/brown/dirty gold deco to buy more. Then, I'll buy two of that deco for my Geonosis diorama.
