Good God! According to the new Smiley Luke photos posted, he might actually have gotten the right lighsaber.  :P

We can also be upset that the lightsaber was added instead of the red ladder because Luke never used the weapon in this outfit.  The outrage of it all  ::)

My favorite is the cardback, which clearly shows Luke standing on the RED pilot ladder with the YELLOW tech ladder in the background.  Oh well, at least we're getting one of the ladders with the figure, which is better than nothing.   :P

It wouldn't be Hasbro if they didn't get something wrong.

Isn't the red ladder coming with a new X-wing later this year or next though?

I'm fine with this figure and even the ladder, except for the atrocious head sculpt.

Yep. The red ladder is coming with Wedge's X-Wing this year.

According to JediInsider, the prices have been revealed for this year's exclusives:

Luke Skywalker (smiling) X-Wing Pilot w/ladder - $9.99
Force Unleashed Stormtrooper Commander - $12.99

Both overpriced still, but I'm surprised that Luke is $9.99, and that both aren't priced closer to $15.

That's only $2.00 more than normal for the Luke... quite reasonable for an exclusive.

Yeah, I may actually cave on both.  I was gonna pass, but even the Stormtrooper isn't a horrid price, as exclusives go.  I was expecting $15.99 each, minimum.

Well, that's convinced me to cave and buy the Luke. What a pleasant surprise, let's see more of this Hasbro!

I'm thinking that I'll be getting the Stormtrooper Commander on line (SWS.com, right?) after the convention, unless anyone is willing to pick one up for me.  (Then again, its probably a wash on shipping and its just a headache to another JDer to have to pick it up, ship, etc.    end inner monolog).

The Stormtrooper Commander figure is a shared exclusive.  It will be available (at the show and on-line after the show) from both HasbroToyShop and StarWarsShop.

So who has the Luke figure? Hasbro Toy Shop or Star Wars Shop?

Either way, does this mean that I'll be able to order both SDCC exclusives from the same website and save a bit on over-priced shipping?  ;D

Luke is only at HasbroToyShop.

So yes, you should be able to order both from HTS, assuming of course that they are both in stock at the same time when you try to order.   :P

I'd buy both, but I caved on the Commander about 3 months ago on eBay.  I paid about $23 for him.   >:(
